White Oak Cottage, Perched on Private Sandy Beach

Perfect family vacation spot for three generations - 60s to toddlers. ( a party of 4 adults and a 4 yr old and 20 month old) Cottage is totally complete with all the comforts of home. Water and beachfront are beyond ideal for the children. Floating island, beach tent, Adirondack chairs and all the sand toys meant hours on the beach. Great kitchen to cook in and the island/peninsula is everything! If you have forgotten anything at home, Pembroke is only 15 minutes away, providing all you need. Linda and Paul are kind, responsive and generous hosts. They greeted us with the offer of cold beers and Chardonnay. Nice way to set the vacation mood. We are grateful for our stay and would recommend it.

The Redwing Lake House was spectacular! There were three of us who enjoyed a perfect weekend hanging out and spending quality time together. We met there to watch the opening weekend of March Madness. We cooked excellent meals, played pool/ping pong, relaxed, caught up on good times and watched plenty of basketball. Couldn’t ask for anything more! Ryan and Linda were perfect hosts!

On a passé une très beau séjour chez Sophie. Prendre le café du matin au bord du lac avec une panorama coupé le souffle, se baigner et faire des activités aquatiques,c'est là la place. Sophie est un amour 💗, très gentille et serviable ; on a eu une demande spéciale que son mari c'est même déplacer afin de répondre à nôtre demande. La maison est spacieuse,propre et accueillante avec toute ce qu' on a besoin. On va sûrement retourner. Merci Sophie.

Absolutely beautiful! Perfect distance from city. 1.5 hrs to peaceful silence. We especially liked the screened in porch. It was chilly while we were there so after days of sitting by the fire and lawn games we we'd sit in the porch with the fire table going. The kitchen was huge and stocked with all the utensils and cooking ware necessary. We will all definitely recommend Tim's cottage. Thank you.

We had an incredible time at Catherine’s Airbnb! She allowed us to check-in early which was extremely helpful with our baby. The place was beautifully decorated and comfortable. We loved the fire place, large deck and quiet surroundings. We were treated to seeing foxes roaming around multiple times! The tub upstairs was a nice treat and Catherine had all the necessities including coffee! She allowed us to bring our dog and there’s lots of space to walk the dog around on the property and the quiet road. Would highly recommend this Airbnb. Thanks Catherine!

The place was in a beautiful location right on the water. The host was great with communication and very helpful with all my questions. Great location if you wanna go 4 wheeling. Super easy to get to and easy access. Lots of space and lots of beds. The chairs in the dining room and the old furniture was really beautiful. I'd recommend this location to friends who are looking for a great place to stay.
