Moore Studio Apartment

Studio apartment is centrally located in Lafayette, LA. Private entrance to apartment with parking right outside the door. Apartment is not within the main house, however, is “attached to the garage of the main house”. Located within walking distance to City park, Hospital & a Performing Arts Center. University of Louisiana, Cajundome & Convention Center, shopping & local restaurant favorites are within a mile. Kitchen area is equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker & a toaster.

The Barn - Upstairs

The Barn is only 2 miles from the interstate tucked away on three acres of peaceful, private property. The Barn is to the left of our home. Parking signs are clearly marked. The stairs to The Barn lead to a 1000 square foot custom built apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom with a king size bed, a living area with a sofa sleeper, a work room with a desk and sofa sleeper, a laundry room with a washer and dryer, and a large deck with a view of the pond. We can accommodate 6 guests.

Come relax in our Cypress Suite and Balcony, located on an eight acre park like setting along the Bayou Teche, you will have the entire floor plus full bathroom downstairs, as well as access to the large eat in kitchen and front living room and expansive front porch. You will be enjoying a stay in one of the oldest homes in the State of Louisiana, and surrounded by a collection of period furnishings that delight all of our guests and visitors. Our place is five blocks from LSU, 1.4 mile drive from Tiger stadium (a one mile walk), on historic and beautiful Highland Road. Easy access to interstates and downtown. You’ll love the private space with off street parking (1 car only), comfy bed and great neighborhood. Our place works for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers. Note: two adults maximum. Quiet time is 10 pm to 8 am.

The Freetown Artist Studio is situated on the edge of Downtown. It is only a few blocks from live music and great food. The living space is approximately 900 square feet and comes with all of the amenities for a creative, private, relaxing getaway. Most of my guests are couples or single people. But I'm OK with families with small children.

Farm Charm

Our unique space is situated adjacent to our Barn and is surrounded by 10 acres of farmland. Although this is "country living" just off I-10, and the community of Scott, which offers an abundance of restaurants/eateries. Scott is the "Boudin Capital" of the World, so while you are here, you might want to sample what everyone is talking about.
