Vacation rentals in Bay of Pigs

Logement incroyable. L’accès à la plage est vraiment magnifique. Chambre confortable et salle de bain très bien. Eau chaude si vous besoin. Endroit très agréable et relaxant (hors saison). Nos hôtes ont été adorables avec nous, nous avons commandé un repas pour deux auprès de la casa et le rapport qualité/prix est parfait . Le plus manger avec les pieds dans le sable et la mer a 10m. Plusieurs restaurants à proximité très agréable et abordables également. Prévoir l’anti-moustique car le soir ils sont de sortie !

Very simple bungalow right on the beach. Within walking distance, there are a few small shops and about three restaurants, all run by very friendly people. Overall, there’s nothing to complain about — this is Playa Larga in Cuba, so it’s best to read about the place before coming. This is definitely not for posh travelers looking for a typical beach holiday, but if you’re willing to explore this beautiful area, this is the perfect place for you. And we can’t forget MANU and his very kind family, who prepared delicious breakfasts and took care of us throughout our entire stay. Love you all, and hopefully we can see you again at some point! Wir waren 2 Tage bei Ariel im Casa-Fabi und haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt! der Strand gleich neben der Unterkunft ist sehr schön, jedoch nicht sehr gut zum Baden. dafür gibt es aber genügend Alternativen in der nähe! wir hatten in diesen Casa das bisher beste Frühstück auf ganz Kuba! wirklich zum empfehlen und mit einer Traumkulisse auf der Dachterrasse. an einem Abend haben wir auch das Abendessen dort genossen - top, die Portionen sind groß und das Essen wirklich super lecker! für das Frühstück haben wir jetzt 5€pP gezahlt, für das Abendessen 10-12€pP je nach Auswahl (Krebs/Hühnchen) Ariel und Fabi sind super nett und man kann mit allem auf sie zugehen. einen Nachmittag/Abend ging es mit nicht so gut, da habe ich auch 2 Kamillentees bekommen und konnte mich auf dem Zimmer für auskurieren. wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder in die Unterkunft gehen, wenn wir zum Playa Larga reisen und können es nur weiterempfehlen. Stromausfall sollte man etwas im hinterkopf haben bzgl. Klima...

The apartment is in a great location with easy access to the beach and town of Playa Larga. Melisa was very responsive and helpful in organising travel and tours during our stay. She also includes an amazing breakfast each morning to enjoy whilst looking across the pretty fishing bay. I highly recommend doing the enigma de las rocas tour along with snorkelling at the cueva de los pesces. Just a note about the area: the restaurants along the beach all have a stunning view but are very expensive compared to other Cuban restaurants we went to. More like European prices as you are paying for being on the beach (which is paradise!). If you walk into town there are cheaper restaurants. We also had an amazing pizza from a street side shack nearby for only 200CUP!

We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad bij Eldys. Er is geen plek als deze! Het is een pré om een beetje Spaans te kunnen, omdat de hosts geen Engels spreken. Hosts zijn vriendelijk en denken met je mee. Ook fungeren ze als taxi. Het ontbijt (vooral de pannenkoeken) zijn heel lekker! En hun huisdier is echt schattig. Let er op dat de elektriciteit vaak uitvalt, geen airco, licht en internet. Maar hier kunnen zij niets aan doen, dat is Cuba. Ook muggen en zandvlooien op het strand, dus neem bescherming mee.

To stay with Bombo is to become a part of his family, and what an absolute privilege that was. I was very sad to leave Playa Larga, and my memories of his smile, his secret handshake, the generosity and hospitality of his wife will live a long time in my memory- proof indeed that kindness is still prevalent in the human condition. Tivemos uma estadia muito agradável, com grande destaque pra vista deslumbrante que o lugar oferece. O ambiente é silencioso, bem cuidado e acolhedor. Um diferencial importante da hospedagem é o fato de que há gerador de energia, o que fez toda a diferença durante apagões que acontecem em Cuba. Vale apenas uma observação gentil sobre a saída: estávamos com bastante bagagem e tivemos um pouco de dificuldade para conseguir um transporte até o ponto de ônibus. Embora a anfitriã tenha sido simpática, não havia indicação direta de taxi ou bici-taxi para esse trecho. Com a ajuda de moradores locais, conseguimos resolver. Nada que tenha comprometido a experiência, mas é bom estar atento a esse ponto logístico, especialmente se estiver com muitas malas. No geral, recomendamos a hospedagem!
