This is a generous 6 bedroom home with two living areas and three bathrooms. There is plenty of space inside and out, set on 25 acres. We can sleep up to 22 people on request. There is a heated pool and tennis court, pool table, ping pong table (in garage), toys for the kids. We have TV, a fire place indoor and a fire pit outside and a large BBQ. There is ducted heating & cooling all year round. We have chickens you can feed and the Kangaroos, Sheep and Cows are never far away.

Lalage's cottage is beautifully and very well appointed. Such a cosy space with a beautiful outlook to fields and trees. Quiet and super peaceful. Fantastic birdlife. It felt very homey and provided us a perfect base for us to explore Kanangra Walls. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. Lalage is very friendly and helpful and it was lovely to meet her.

Isabella’s place was perfect for our young family, it had absolutely everything we needed for our stay. The surroundings were peaceful and the kids loved feeding the animals. We will definitely be back to stay, it was in such a nice spot not far out of Orange at all so super convenient. I loved the selection of books to read not to mention the view. Thank you so much for being an amazing host.

We just had the most amazing time away at Hare & Hound. The house is exactly as the pictures show and the surrounds are even more beautiful. The most epic sunsets over the rolling hills surrounded by sheep and cows thousands of stars at night and a beautiful cosy fireplace, what more could you want to escape from the city. This was the perfect family getaway for us to reconnect for Easter. Thank you Ree and family. (A special mention to your kids Ree who left my kiddies a lovely welcome note on arrival) ☺️

Really wonderful location: breathtaking views, both sunrise and sunsets. Tranquil and very private. The place has pretty much everything we need. It’s clean, cosy and homely. Ryan was very proactive in providing instructions prior to our arrival, keeping us updated when the place was ready before the official check in time. Very glad to have had the pleasure to stay in cottage on the grounds of Wilga Downs!

If you get the chance to book The Shearer’s Shed or its sister property HIT THE BOOK BUTTON IMMEDIATELY - the property totally surpassed our expectations and was simply brilliant for our extended family. Private and peaceful, beautifully and thoughtfully appointed and absolutely stunning. Hamish and Mez were wonderful hosts and obviously love sharing their beautiful station.
