Farmstay vacation rentals in Bathurst Regional Council

This was our second time staying at Ann's cottage and it was just as good as the first. Ann went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable including ensuring the heater was on for when we arrived, perfect on a chilly Bathurst night. Bathurst really is glorious this time of year and we will be back for more!

A charming cottage in a very peaceful location. We were extremely comfortable and felt at home immediately. We were only there on a short stopover and spent our time relaxing, reading and eating on the verandah, then slept soundly in Jenny's very comfortable beds....bliss!

Fabulous spot for a relaxed holiday. Perfect little retreat for my 9yo and me. Breakfast was taken care of, the kitchen was fully equipped, beds were comfy and beautifully made, and we could bounce around loudly with disturbing anyone! Liz invited us to feed animals at 4.30pm each day and we met the adorable farm dogs 🐕😍. Sadly, I wasn't allowed to take one home with us! Excellent value and wide open spaces. I felt right at home at Cloud Nine. It was comfortable, peaceful and warm Would recommend to anyone a great place to stay if you want to be out of a busy town. It's conveniently located between towns and tourist places. There's also the camel next door - he's pretty friendly!

It was a great stay. Really enjoyed watching the horses. Very quiet. Lots of kangaroos jumping around and lounging. They were fun to watch. Ultra clear skies and we took great pics of the milky way.

I could not recommend Christine’s place enough. Such a beautiful location and the cottage is super quaint with everything you need. Christine was a wonderful host who showed true hospitality. The cottage even had Starlink internet which was a nice bonus! The purpose of the stay was to attend an event in Bathurst, which was around a 35 minute drive through beautiful country side (and the drive into the property is spectacular through beautiful poplar trees). You will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful stay at Denise’s farm over the Easter weekend with our family and friends. The house was lovely—clean, well-equipped, and nestled in a peaceful farm setting with absolutely stunning views. Denise was a fantastic host, going above and beyond to make our stay special. One of the highlights was when she took our girls on a tour around the farm—they got to meet and feed the animals, which was such a memorable experience for them. It was the perfect mix of relaxation and fun for both adults and kids. Highly recommend this stay for anyone looking for a unique and heartwarming getaway. Thanks Denise!

We had a fabulous stay at O'Connells! The accommodation was perfect—spacious bedrooms comfortably fit six adults and two kids. While the kitchen was small (as shown in the photos), it didn’t impact our trip since we BBQ’d most meals. The house was beautifully warm throughout—excellent heating meant we were never cold. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunset over the surrounding landscape was unforgettable. Evenings around the campfire made for the perfect retreat. One delightful surprise not mentioned in the listing was the fantastic cubby house. Our kids were completely captivated and played in it non-stop—it was a hidden gem that truly made their stay. We also enjoyed driving the track to Ben Chifley Dam and visiting the friendly puppies on site. It was a memorable catch-up with friends, and we’re already hoping to book again in July! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

The place itself is amazing with all the sceneries, room and beds were organised as we wanted, feeding the farm animals was an amazing experience as well, the best thing about the stay was the host, she guided us as a-lot with all of the stuff around, suggested us nearby places to visit and she made sure everything was perfect for us during the stay. we will definitely go there again for sure.

What can we say about Sarah and Michael, but they were Fantastic hosts. Directions to their place were spot on and easy to access. We had a wonderful welcoming committee when we arrived, we were greeted by four of their 4 legged friends: Melman and Pudge their Llamas and Peanut and Waffles their goats. Their Airbnb home was pristine, quaint, comfortable, warm and inviting, it reminded me of a smaller version of a Hampton style home. A lovely fire place inside and a fire pit outside which we used on our stay. Home away from Home. This was such a relaxing weekend away with our Dear friends from Sydney. Great experience of tasting beautiful local wines and produce. We could not forget the exceptional and flavoursome "BelleRose Gin" ( LOL). The town was very welcoming to visitors, cannot forget the great, sweet and quirky shops. Loved it. We will be back again, cannot wait to see the snow. Just Beautiful! Thank you once again. Such a nice escape, especially if you’re looking for something in the Orange region! Highly recommend as a winter/autumn getaway especially with the rustic stone cottage and the fire place that Karen has. She was so accomodating of our dog who had a blast at the property!

We had a lovely stay at Little Brundah! The place it so tastefully put together, it was super cosy around the fire place while it was snowing outside, and we found the beds super comfy. Oberon and the area really surprised us- we loved the little cafes and shops and were amazed by nearby Mayfield Garden! The hosts very super lovely and responsive for any of our questions.

Sarah and Peco are some of the nicest people you’ll ever meet and their hospitality was next level. We really appreciated all the ways in which they made us feel welcome and at home on their property from bringing us drinks to inviting our daughter to play at their house with their kids. We enjoyed feeding the goats and horses and seeing the sheep and cows and of course collecting eggs in the morning. The kids loved riding the golf buggy too. The playground out the back provided hours of entertainment. The listing was very accurate and it was a 5min drive to the city centre which was convenient. If you have kids and want to be near Bathurst, this place is perfect!

We absolutely adored staying at Benjamin’s AIR BNB. From the moment we got there, everything was perfect. Waking up in the mornings to seeing the beautiful scenery, taking a nice warm bath outside enjoying the peace and quiet. Everything was clean and exceeded my expectations. We will definitely recommend to friends and family, as well as hopefully be back one day for another visit.

My husband and I stayed at RedGround cottage for a long weekend and enjoyed every single minute of it. The cottage has everything you need and the surrounding is just magnificent. We could fully switch off and get the most out of a quiet weekend in a peaceful location. We were blessed with the snow and sitting next to the fireplace with a cup of tea really made our day. Thanks Jill for the warm hospitality, beautiful and peaceful place and leaving plenty of woods for the fireplace :)

We had a large group, kids and dogs head out for a 40th birthday and couldn’t have loved our time away more. I have never had an Airbnb host as thoughtful and thorough as Rosa, from preparing gifts for the kids, hanging up decorations for us, and delivering Italian coffee in the morning, as well as being available & ready to help for every question we had. The barn was closer to the main house than I had thought, but they had no problems with our late night ruckus over a heated trivia match, and meant anything we needed was quickly delivered / dealt with. The animals were just amazing to explore, and the sunsets were incredible. We loved our time here and would definitely come back.

We throughly enjoyed 5 nights at Hilton Homestead over New Year’s. Such a peaceful spot and the renovated home is just beautiful - the perfect mix of old and new. We enjoyed peaceful mornings, watching the wildlife and gorgeous sunsets and many home cooked meals. The surrounding towns are also quaint and very enjoyable to mosey around. Watching and listening to the cows being moved early on the first morning was a treat! Thank you Megan and John for the lovely stay. A perfect country getaway 💚

Andy & Amanda always response my message on time, and very detail insturction to guide us arrived, the cottage is way better than the photos, we wish we can spend whole day in the cottage, both my family and my little one love it. we plan to come back next year, fully recommended.

We had the most memorable stay at Old Caloola School House! Sharron was the most incredible host, greeting us with delicious homemade brownies and taking the time to show us around her gorgeous farm to meet and feed all of her animals. Our accomodation was like a cover from a Country Living magazine, so charming, homely, clean and had everything you could possibly need. We didn’t want to leave! Sharron was so friendly and helpful and she is definitely the hostess with the mostess. Our stay wouldn’t have been as amazing as it was without Sharron - thank you! We would recommend Old Caloola School House to anyone 😊

Great homestead, a lot of room and rooms. If it had a fire place to have a crackling fire would be perfecto. lovely grounds and home , great views
