The Sunset Haven -Carron Point Beach

Angela’s house is just as you see it in the pictures. The beach is great and literally in your backyard! The sunsets are incredible. The house is massive with a big kitchen ideal for groups and big families. The house is very well equipped and furnished with a thought for every detail to feel at home. It actually feels like a friends home you would have borrowed, that’s how homey it feels. The only downside like other comments mentioned are the bloody mosquitoes who will eat you alive after 5.00pm. It might have been nice to have a protected outdoor area. Also, if you’re picky with the taste of water, this one tastes a little bit like lake water. We had a great stay at Angela’s and we would all highly recommend the place to friends and family!

Charmant chalet bien situé, avec belles touches locales, rustiques et modernes. Pratiquement équipé. Vue magnifique. On ne peut qu'imaginer comment ce chalet peut être un emplacement de choix l'été avec ton grand balcon et son bbq. On l'a beaucoup aimé et on le recommande sans hésiter!

Great place! Cozy beach home .. we enjoyed our stay here very much .. everything went smoothly with check-in and communication. Only mini thing is, I’d recommend bringing eye masks if you’d like to sleep in because there’s no curtains to block the sunlight.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet appartement. L'endroit est propre, bien décoré et comme sur les photos. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions laissées par l’hôte (café, guides locaux, etc.). La communication a aussi été top : rapide et chaleureuse. Je recommande à 100% !

Colin a devancé toutes nos interrogations. Il nous a toujours répondu très rapidement. Nous recommandons fortement cette location.

Wir haben uns im Chalet sehr wohl gefühlt und können es nur empfehlen! Perfekt für alle, die etwas abgeschiedener entspannen wollen aber trotzdem nicht auf den Comfort eines schönen Badezimmers mit Regendusche und eine gute Küche verzichten wollen! Die Unterkunft eignet sich zum Ausruhen am Privatstrand auf einem langen Road Trip, aber bietet auch die Möglichkeit für Tagesausflüge, zB zum Parc Nationale de la Gaspésie.

I booked Shawn’s cabin for 3 nights with just me, a mid-sixty woman with a 7 year old special needs child. Shawn was a wonderful host who welcomed us at check-in, set my phone to access wifi and set the TV to Netflix. That’s a service that never happens at a hotel. The property is beautiful and directly across from the beach. It was fall weather so we enjoyed a drive up to Mont St. Joseph and many hours a the UNESCO site at Miguasha Museum of Natural History. It was an incredible experience to share with a child and Shawn and his family are wonderful hosts.

Notre début de séjour a été plutôt laborieux puisque dès notre arrivé nous n'avions pas accès au réfrigérateur, au four et à l'eau chaude. Ce qui est décevant, c'est que nous avons passé notre première soirée à tenter de trouver le problème puisque Marie-Claude nous assurait que le propane venait tout juste d'être rempli. Nous avons appris le lendemain matin que le propane était vide et à ce moment j'ai partagé mon mécontentement et mon impatience à Marie-Claude. À partir de cet instant, Marie-Claude a fait tous les efforts nécessaires afin de s'assurer que nous puissions obtenir du propane le plus rapidement possible et elle s'est déplacé sur place pour s'assurer que tout fonctionnait bien. Bref, malgré le problème et mon impatience Marie-Claude a démontré qu'elle est une hôte qui se soucie du bien être de ses invités. C'est un endroit tranquille avec un magnifique accès au bord de l'eau qui nous permet de déconnecter et d'en profiter avec nos chiens. Merci pour ces vacances :)

Le cottage au bord de l'eau était parfait pour une évasion en famille. La cuisine et la salle de bain sont bien équipées, ainsi que le mobilier extérieur. Des chaises pour l'extérieur, des jeux et un barbecue sont à notre disposition. Nous avons adoré profiter de l'accès direct à la plage et à l'océan. Les enfants ont pu y fait un concours de château de sable et récolter des roches pour les peinturer. Pendant les jours de pluie, la grande table de cuisine a permis d'accueillir de nombreuses parties de jeux de sociétés. Plaisir et confort assuré, peut importe la température. Merci à Tina pour cet hébergement en bord de mer.

Un séjour exceptionnel! L'endroit est vraiment parfait et décoré avec beaucoup de soin. Nous avons trouvé tout le nécessaire sur place, ce qui a rendu notre expérience encore plus agréable. La communication avec Luc a été excellente tout au long du processus, et nous avons particulièrement apprécié son souci de notre bien-être. C’est un vrai plus qui fait toute la différence ! This is a lovely apartment in a really beautiful, serene place, with amazing views of the bay! I really enjoyed my stay. The apartment is a gem, nicely furnished, and clean. Julie was a great host, checking in the day after I arrived to make sure everything was fine, and otherwise quick to respond and helpful. I would highly recommend this place!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful home! It was such a lovely home. We enjoyed it a lot. We slept well in the comfortable bedrooms. And the living space was great for us. We did a lot, despite the weather! We loved the Veloroute and will go back to do more of it. It was fun for us, especially the boardwalk (that we could cycle) at Shippagan. Also, we had never heard of the Acadian Historic Village and it was well worth a visit. We went to the Miscou Lighthouse, walked the Miscou Bog Trail, visited the "Candy" Church, and just had a great time with our friends from Ontario.
