Guesthouse vacation rentals in Bateau Bay

I had a most enjoyable six weeks stay , in comfortable accommodation and pleasant surroundings , within easy walking of beaches and cafes . For anyone wishing to see more of the Northern Beaches this is a good central location , also with good transport options in to the city . I appreciated the privacy of the accommodation , but the hosts were readily available , and willing to help , if needed .

This place is a hidden gem! We were so pleased that we happened to fluke this place as our stay before heading to Newcastle and were so pleased! It was such a quiet, peaceful place to stay. It’s out of the busyness of the city but close enough to everything if you need. Berowra waters is just down the road. We had two young children with us and found we had plenty of room for us all. The beds were SUPER comfortable, beautiful linens and had everything we could need. The host was very kind and helpful! The only downside was we didn’t stay longer. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Look no further! Home away from home! 5 star location (walking distance to spas, market, restaurants, ferry, etc...), 5 star home (super clean, ALL amenities possible, very cozy) and 5 star host who displayed a great deal of flexibility with a 4 year old. From the moment I arrived, Tracey’s attention to detail and exceptional communication made the entire experience a dream. Warm winter sun, huge uninterrupted views, privacy and extremely well appointed accommodation, is but a few of the benefits of staying at this Airbnb.

Absolutely beautiful accommodation in a perfect location. It’s like your own private beach oasis right on the doorstep of Blacksmiths Beach and Granny’s Pool. The outdoor dining area was our favourite place to sit and enjoy a quiet breakfast and relax for dinner in complete privacy. The amenities are modern and everything you need - we didn’t want to leave! Easily the best place to stay in Blacksmiths!

Justine was friendly, helpful and promptly responsive. The cabin was clean, cozy and very comfortable, with all the essentials of home. Loved Forresters Beach, a beautiful sanctuary and very picturesque!!

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb. It was so clean, spacious and cozy. The kitchen is absolutely stunning and not to mention the amazing water views right out the front.

My family loved staying here. The place catered for kids with a travel cot, high chair and baby gate available. It is beautifully decorated and had lots of lovely touches that made the place feel extra special. We had a lot of fun exploring the nearby fields and got to meet the chickens and horses! I can't praise the communication of the owners enough - they checked in every day and responded to messages quickly. Thank you for the great stay Alissa and Matt!

We had a lovely stay at Sam’s cozy little villa. It felt just like home, especially the super comfy bed. The natural light from the roof windows was a nice touch, and the location’s spot on! It’s close to the beach and great spots to eat with beautiful views. Just a heads-up: there are stairs going down to the villa, which made it a bit tricky with luggage and might be tough for elderly or families with little ones. All up, a great find we’ll remember!

Cosy little place within walking distance of shops and the beach. Very peaceful and quiet. Great shower for tall people. Lock up garage was a huge bonus. Would highly recommend this place for anyone with a dog as there is a dog friendly beach nearby, and the property has a fully fenced grass area. Alice and Andy gave easy to follow instructions for getting to the property and also great recommendations for the area. Their recommendations and house rules at the property came in a digital form of a QR code google doc which I thought was cool. Thank you for hosting, would definitely come here again! 👍🏻

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Beautiful Stay at The Nest The Nest was the perfect home base for our getaway to Brooklyn. The space was spotless, beautifully styled, and really comfortable. It’s in a peaceful spot but just minutes from everything—ideal location! We did an oyster shucking experience, visited the Broken Bay Oyster Shed, and had an amazing dinner at A Chef Secrets—all within easy reach. The host was lovely and responsive, and the thoughtful touches made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this stay—we’d definitely come back!

Jay’s place was perfect for my daughter and I for a 3 night stay. Great, quiet location and it was easy for me to work for a day using the adjustable coffee table. Great to have some pantry staples on hand and the place was super clean and homely. Thanks so much - would definitely recommend Jay as a host and the Treehouse.

This was the most delightful Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The area is so lovely and peaceful and beautiful gardens. The place is immaculately clean and tidy, with a lovely cozy fire and comfy beds. Brand new and exactly like the photos. The kitchen is well stocked with tea and coffee and some added extra treats. Deborah was very welcoming and friendly. Very responsive and flexible with check in and out times. So kind and caring, and helpful with information of the local area. Such a nice place for a quiet getaway, to sit and read in the garden or watch the birds. 🦅 So homely you won’t want to leave ! I will definitely be back to visit and stay with Deborah.

We have stayed at Linda's place on several occasions and could not speak highly enough of the cleanliness; the amenities etc. and Linda and Ian's helpfulness. They never intruded but were always available by phone if needed. This is definitely our place to stay for a short break.

A fantastic place to stay for a few nights or even longer, Paul is such a great host. The home was exceptionally clean, the spa bath was absolutely delightful and his instructions are very very clear! The surroundings?! Beautiful and we felt right at home. This was our second stay in the cabin and definitely not our last. I can't speak highly enough of the host, the space and the location... everything is just wonderful. The Cabin is very well decked out and feels like a private retreat. It's the perfect size for a beach side getaway with pooch in hand. The hosts are extremely welcoming and everything is a short walk away. Thanks for a great stay.

Michele and Jeff were amazing hosts—warm, welcoming, and such a pleasure to chat with. The location was absolutely stunning. The peaceful lake setting, combined with the breathtaking views of both sunrise and sunset, created the perfect escape. This is one of those places you’ll want to return to—and I definitely will!.

Absolutely beautiful spot and her yard was like an oasis. Always wary with on the street parking, but as location was in a quiet area, we were confident to leave our car on the street. The accommodation was as advertised, clean and comfortable. Nicole was an accommodating host as we had to change our booking several times, which wasn’t a bother. Would highly recommend this quaint cottage.
