Family-friendly vacation rentals in Basse-Terre

We had a great week. The location is ideal for traveling all over Basse-Terre. Naïdy and her daughter Emily were very welcoming and responsive. The accommodation is very as described, and the view of Pigeon Island is amazing! 😊

What more can I say than a big wow!!!!! Beautiful pool and spa, Michel also hosted us very warmly. Great location, close to all activities. The accommodation is perfectly equipped, everything you need to cook and don't forget the air conditioning, present in both bedrooms, a must. Also in the same building, another RBNB accommodation for rent if you are traveling with a large family or two couples. Thank you Michel!!!! I recommend without hesitation!!!!👍

A very pleasant and clean house with an incredible beach view... you can put down your suitcases and take the small path to get to the beach in 5 minutes, the jacuzzi is also very pleasant because the terrace is surrounded by a small garden where a banana tree and other lush species grow. We are greeted by the song of small frogs and birds, not to mention the small anoles. Gérard thought of everything, beach towels and masks and snorkels... it's missing some kitchen utensils but it's just a detail! Now all that's left is to discover this beautiful island!

Florent & Nicole were wonderful hosts during our stay. They were able to answer our questions & their hospitality was great. The place is great. An amazing view, the jacuzzi to relax. The amenities present allow you to have a stay without missing anything. I would highly recommend it!

Pierre was very available even before our arrival by responding very quickly to our questions. He was then welcoming and very kind throughout the stay ☺️ He gave us a lot of recommendations on activities to do on site. 🏝️Regarding the villa, it was as described, very functional, well equipped, with a beautiful outdoor terrace and a swimming pool surrounded by a beautiful garden. 🏡Not to mention the sea view from the house. 😍All this made for an unforgettable stay in Marie Galante. We had a lovely stay at Murielle's. Listing matches photos. There is a small private pool and Murielle's pool. Murielle is very welcoming, prepared delicious Accra for us and advised us on things to do in the area. We recommend this rental to discover Lower Normandy.

Very nice, brand new and well-equipped accommodation. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful covered terrace outside where we had all our meals. Very nice view of the Cousteau reserve. The hot tub is perfect for the end of the day, not overlooked. We found a pathway to Malendure beach with the explanations given by Yves. The best part is that we were able to swim with 2 turtles. I would not hesitate to rent this place again if I had to come back to this beautiful part of the island 🤩

Clean place. Beautiful pool which is huge and clean. The accommodation is rather old but it is very clean. Good location. Need a car for the area. Romain is a great host. Good little restaurant Ti-Coco. Small private beach.

There is no rating for this listing, because it will stay in my memories forever. We stayed in the hut, and despite the health center being a little far away, the atmosphere really charmed us. It was magical, surrounded by nature, this place is the most beautiful antidote to the hustle and bustle of city life. I loved it! A huge thank you to the owners: it is thanks to them that these rare homes still exist.

Very welcoming hosts. We rented this house because there were 2 bedrooms. Since there were only 2 of us, only one room had been prepared…but our hosts offered to prepare the bed when we told them. It's fine but pretty rudimentary, the decor is very nice. Our boat was unable to leave the port because of the busy sea, quickly our hosts accommodated us for another night.

We had a great time at Vana's place. Everything was perfect! The ideal location on the water, we recharged after a somewhat "sickly" start to our stay. If we had to choose from the 3 places we rented during our stay, it would be Vana's, without hesitation.

Excellent hosts! Accommodation better than in the description and photos! Big + luggage drop off to make the most of the day of departure and arrival in Les Saintes! A stay we have a wonderful memory of, we will be back!

We LOVED our stay!! The view was stunning and the house was amazing. It was quiet and very private, yet the other rentals in the La Manon compound were close by and it felt safe and secure at the top of a mountain. Exactly as pictured and exactly what we were expecting. The house was not quite ready for us upon arrival so we went out for groceries while the cleaning lady was finishing up. A nice grocery store is just 15 minutes away with everything we needed. The house was so relaxing that we didn’t want to leave it for exploring the island, but enjoyed every outing we had with gorgeous scenery and beautiful beaches. We had stayed one week in Basse Terre and one week in Grand Terre and so glad we did. They are very different but each has its own charm and interest. Bernadette was an excellent, laid back host, always replying quickly and very friendly. We appreciated her speaking some English since we speak very little French. We would definitely recommend!

We were with two people in cottage Ylang Ylang. The house is very spacious and has all the comforts. From the house, you have a breathtaking view of the forest. The location of the accommodation is perfect if you want to make trips to Basse-Terre and Grand-Terre.

We were charmed by this colonial-style house and its beautiful and lush garden. It is very well located for visiting and hiking in the south of Basse Terre (for the ferry to Les Saintes too!). Everything was done and renovated by its owner, a true artist. They are very kind and helpful. What a joy to wake up with a view of the sea and the volcano discovered on the opposite side. In the evening, the sky is ablaze from the pool. To be enjoyed with a rum punch! Thank you to Sir and Chantal, for our chats. Accommodation in a green and peaceful setting. Beautiful house with a very nice pool after enjoying the terrace and island tours. Very responsive and welcoming host. We recommend🤗

What a fantastic stay at Villa Cezanne! The area is quiet, lush and safe. The villa is clean and the outdoor spaces are very nice. We felt at home! The grocery store is walking distance and the nearby beaches are beautiful. Note that there is only one toilet but two bathrooms. Véronique and Bernard are welcoming and warm hosts. We are already dreaming of our next stay at Villa Cezanne!

We only spent 4 nights in our kaz, but what a great time. Sulyanise welcomed us with great sweetness and kindness, we discovered together the fertilization of vanilla and so many other stories of the island. A real enchanting break, thanks to her and Philippe.

Beautiful house 10 min drive to downtown and 5 min drive to the beach (possible on foot but big hill on the way back). Unobstructed view, vegetation around provided and pleasant. Be careful if you are afraid of small animals that can enter the house. Well-equipped house in terms of kitchen equipment. Very spacious and very comfortable beds with mosquito nets. parking available for 3 cars

The Villa is delightful and just as amazing as in the photos. The location is perfect, the water is right there and the beach where you can really float is just a beautiful short walk- on the beach- from your back yard. Absolute bonus: delicious restaurants, bakery and general store right around the corner. You can spend days on end without getting in the car! Our host was super responsive and everyone around including neighbors and maintenance workers in the facility were all very friendly. We really felt at home.

Michel is welcoming and showed us around the accommodation upon arrival. Tips on things to see / do were given. The listing is located in the heights, in a quiet area. And the location is ideal for visiting Basse-Terre. The pool is a real plus with kids.

We had a great time at Frantz's house. The house and garden are really beautiful, the house is very well-equipped. Walking distance to one of the most beautiful beaches on the island is very nice. Frantz is of a rare kindness, his advice is very valuable. Everything is perfect!
