Vacation rentals with lake access in Barron County

Our stay was wonderful! It was a men’s weekend for fishing, grilling and time with God. Home was clean, filled with amenities we needed, close to the water and provided a peaceful place for the weekend! Definitely would recommend to others! Monea was always responsive and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay! 5 stars, hands down!

Nicely appointed and spacious home has just about anything you can think of from BBQs to kayaks to two washer/dryers. Quiet neighborhood and easy access to Chetek downtown.

Great place to spend a get away,enjoyed my stay there weather was fantastic my kids enjoyed the snow.I really recommend this place

Micheal was very responsive answering questions I had. The area had a nice view of the lake and the house felt very roomy. I would recommend for a peaceful getaway. The firepit was nice to relax at in the evening.

We had a lovely time in Chetek. The home was beautiful and unique. It was walking distance to several restaurants with a beautiful view of the lake. Highly recommended and we will be coming back!

The view from the living room was gorgeous - lovely to have indoor fireplaces. We had all the amenities you'd need in the kitchen to cook any meal. The blackout curtains in the bedrooms on the main floor were wonderful - the master was very bright and not conducive to sleeping in.

A quiet and scenic spot with access to the lake. I had a wonderful time and would love to return.

A sweet little cabin on a sheltered side of Lake Chetek. Kayaks and canoe available for use along with a grill and fire pit. Everything was convenient, clean, and in good shape! A well cared for little spot. Nice getaway.

The Birchview suite was a super cute cottage! Everything was provided and it made it easy to cook and live comfortably. The only thing I want to bring up to others looking to rent here, be sure to read the description carefully. Unfortunately we didn’t realize there would be another family downstairs. Our mistake for not reading it carefully. I was uncomfortable using the deck or fire pit area knowing there were others right downstairs. We also worried about making too much noise with the tv or walking around in the early am. It would be a great place to rent with a big family where you know who is downstairs. But other than that it’s a great place to stay!

I can't say enough about this little gem and the host. Out the front door is a 2 block walk to the shops, restaurants and stores downtown, out the back door is a beautiful lake with a private dock to call your own. The cabin is just that, a cabin built in the '20's, it is small and quaint, but full of history and love. For what we wanted, it was perfect. We were able to relax and we thoroughly enjoyed hearing Sharon's stories of growing up next door. The description and pictures are very accurate so we knew before arriving what to expect. Our 4 night stay was just about perfect here.

I had a wonderful stay at Rice Lake in the Turtle Cottage it was peaceful and got to see nature with the Pelicans and the Eagles . Not to far from the twin cities and was able to drive there to spend a day in the cities yet come back to a nice Rural Cottage . The kitchen was perfect for all my cooking needs Rice Lake was a cute safe town to shop antique stores , downtown stores and thrift stores . The trails on the property were well maintained and it was wonderful to walk them . The hosts were helpful , Kind and wonderful people.
