This is a clean, well-appointed basement apartment, with a comfortable bed, plenty of water pressure, and (I'm guessing) a 52-inch television. The Wi-Fi is great. The large couch has a pull-out option. The biggest plus for me: a really top-notch washer and dryer. (For the others, it was still the television ;P ) The bedroom and the living/kitchen area both have egress windows and this is an important detail. There is no standard-sized oven, but the kitchen has an array of other appliances to make up for this. David and Olu are excellent hosts and the value for the price is amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay.

What a beautiful spot! We loved the clean and nicely decorated cottage, and appreciated that it was pet friendly! We enjoyed the wood stove in the evenings, and coffee on the porch swing in the mornings. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided, including Scrabble for game nights! The surroundings are beautiful, and we were lucky enough to be able to do some fly-fishing off the property- one catch and release of an Atlantic salmon! We plan to start coming every spring as a new tradition! Will definitely be back-thanks so much for the stay!

Just finished our stay at Joanne’s. We booked for four nights and then decided to stay another night. Considering it was a last minute decision, Joanne was very accommodating and was able to book us for another night. The house is beautiful, the beds are very comfortable and it’s feels like being home. I would highly recommend staying here, if I’m in the area again I will be staying here for sure.

My stay at the charming beachfront cottage on York Street was nothing short of perfect. We especially loved the outdoor amenities—starting our mornings with a peaceful coffee on the patio, followed by a dip in the pool. The surroundings are serene, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and responsive, ensuring we had everything we needed throughout our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with all the comforts of home.

Spotless, cozy place. Amazing and clean jacuzzi. Kayaks. Our 3-day vacation was amazing, our 6-year-old daughter played around and didn't ask about TV. Wonderful river view

Benjamin was very responsive , and proactive to solve a problem for our stay !! The property was as described , clean and had an airy flow . The location was calm and quiet , which made for a restful stay !

This place suited our needs perfectly to have three well appointed bedrooms. Nice spacious bathroom. Everything you need is in the kitchen . Very clean and quiet and would definitely stay there again. Very safe and family friendly neighborhood.
