The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

Feel as though you stepped back in time. Built in 1900,(but city records put build date 1870-1875) located less than a 10 min walk , along a tree-lined street to historic downtown Eufaula. This quaint area has unique shops, restaurants,boutiques and is only 2 miles from Lake Eufaula, the"Bass Capital of the World".bring your boat. Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place for a little getaway. We are located about 7 miles from Cheneyhatchee Creek boat landing and beautiful Lake Eufaula. We are on a quiet county road that is a safe place to come home to after a fun day on the lake or busy day browsing through the many shops or historic homes in Eufaula. Oh did I mention, we have beautiful sunsets too! If the moon is full, it is just perfect rising above our barn! You just have to come see for your self!

This lake home came as advertised! Beautiful, peaceful, clean, and spacious…exactly what we were looking for. Would stay there again.

We stayed here for a week for work and it was really peaceful and homey! Me and my mother enjoyed our stay and would stay again if we could. There wasn’t a microwave and the oven knobs were confusing but we were able to figure it out so it’s all good!!

Georgia Shores is a lovely, clean, mostly quiet, cabin on the lake. The beds were very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water with good water pressure. Overall, we had a nice time staying here. Things to note at no fault of the owner: being on a lake there are lots of flying critters. Bug spray may be your friend :) There are three dogs in a pen next door. Best to stay out of their line of sight for peace and quiet.

We enjoyed staying in this cozy little home. The house was perfect for it little family! We enjoyed the sunrise view on the lake and the deer in the evening. Chase was a great host and responded very promptly when we had questions. We will be back!

I am leaving a 5 star review for this amazing home. If there were more stars I'd give them more. It was the most beautiful, peaceful and completely enjoyable home we've stayed in. We were able to catch fish right off the dock. We were able to bring our boat and enjoy the lake. Everything needed for cooking was provided in the amazing chefs kitchen. I can not say enough good things about this home. We will definitely book here in the future. All Amazing!!!!!!

This place is a fisherman's paradise . The place is way more than I expected. I had a blast even though the fishing was tough it was a great experience . The host Jonboy was a pleasure to deal with answering any questions I had and even gave me info on the lake since I had never been there. Will for sure be returning to try my luck on the fishing again and without a doubt be staying here again.
