Our shelter is in a very landscape, historically exciting and socially attractive area. The atmosphere is so hospitable. In many places, there are glimpses of the sea, which creeps into bays and fjords and flashes at us; here are soft hills, fields with living fences, forests with diverse nature. Within walking and cycling distance, you can reach many exciting sights. In the nearby area, there are shopping opportunities, exhibitions, flea markets, farm shops, Fanefjord church with famous lime paintings... and much more.

A lovely country house in middle of nature 13 km from Gulbene. House is renovated, there are still things to restore around with love. Here you can rest and be inspired by the surroundings. Sol och Måne is at the end of the Stora Alvaret on southern Öland. Here you live in your own room and share with other guests a TV room, dining room, kitchen, shower room with burning toilet and outdoor patios. Not for children, as most of our guests go to the art school nearby and appreciate peace and quiet. There is also a studio where you can participate in workshops in glass blowing or "pouring color."
