We really enjoyed our stay, both for the excellent surroundings of the cottage but also itsloxat3 being central to the whole region. The cottage is a good size for a family and has everything you need. We will definitely be checking to see if it available the next time we are visiting the area

Very cosy and comfortable chalet, loved looking into the trees on waking! Our 8yr old was stoked with the swings out front and our pup slept through both nights with the heat of the fireplace. Even had a visit from a cute little blue fairywren Great location for tiki touring Boranup Forrest and the 4wd tracks through Leeuwin National Park. Great stay thanks David!

2nd stay and loved it. Even though it’s not far from the road it’s feels secluded and peaceful. Nice to walk around the property (especially in the rain) Close enough for day trips to all the usual down south spots. We are already planning our 3rd stay so we can bring the dog.

We had the most beautiful stay at Ruse Estate Syrah for a special birthday weekend. I surprised my partner, Katie, with a trip down south for her 40th, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. From the moment we arrived, Karen made us feel so welcome. The chalet was spotless, stylish, and incredibly peaceful. We were greeted with fresh sourdough bread and eggs from their own chickens, such a thoughtful touch! Midway through our stay, Karen even topped up our eggs and gifted us the most delicious homemade fig paste. It’s the little things like this that made our time extra special. The space itself was exactly what we were hoping for, a tranquil, modern escape surrounded by nature. We left feeling refreshed, relaxed, and grateful. Thank you so much, Karen. We’ll absolutely be back!

Samphire chalets are one of the most impressive places we have stayed in.

Very peaceful, beautiful place to stay. Although my partner and I got wet from the Kayak, we had lots of fun. We like the place.

The chalet was exactly like the photos with beautiful views of the forest and dam nearby. Lia, Shane & the boys were very welcoming and we even picked up some knowledge about avocado farming and chicken caravans! Our 2.5yr old especially liked saying hello to the sheep and goat each morning and exploring the surrounding area.

This is Julian’s wife. I am so happy with Karen’s place that I needed to use my husband’s account to express my appreciation for Karen and this chalet. It was clean, bed was comfy, location was just perfect to de-stress, and Karen was a wonderful host. Thoughtful touches such as providing us with sourdough, eggs, candle and bath salt are much appreciated. We will come back with our 2 daughters the next time we visit Margaret River.

AMAZING!!!! I’m not even sure where to start. There were so many wonderful things about Ruse Estate.. i’m not even sure where to start.I could only describe it as Australian Tuscany. Surrounded by beautiful rolling vineyards. So quiet, you could hear a pin drop except for the kookaburra’s and various species of parrots singing in the background!!! if you’re looking for a quiet, unique stay, a little off the beaten path… This is the place for you!! We arrived with an early check-in that helped us out tremendously as we got there a little early. We had a wrench thrown into our weekend with some car trouble, Karen went above and beyond her host duties, and even called a personal friend to help us out, which we were able to fix and go on with our weekend! The Airbnb itself was modern and very clean, Big beautiful TV.. very comfortable bed, and we were delighted by the welcoming of freshly made sourdough bread made by Karen herself and a local bottle of wine!! Highly recommend!!! 100/10!💕
