Stay with us at beautiful Iguana Morada. located a short 10 minute walk from the ferry. The home is located in the town of Isabel segunda which is the largest town on isla de vieques. Grocery stores , shopping, and restaurants are located a few blocks away , about a 5 minute walk from the home . Sea glass beach is located close by , where you can swim , snorkel and collect sea glass . The home itself is a 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home with a beautiful screened in porch.

I enjoyed learning about the community, history, and the personalities there. Great place for couples! Beautiful view (saw some lovely sunsets!) and outdoor space to grill, dip in the pool and relax. The space itself was clean and comfortable. Hannah lives upstairs but guests have a separate entrance and area so the space is super private! Kitchen and bathroom have all the basics you need. We separately rented Hannah’s Jeep Patriot to get around. Not 4 wheel drive but we had zero issues getting around the island to the further beaches on the rough dirt roads. Hannah was super friendly and responsive. She gave us several local recommendations. With the car rental she picked us up and dropped us off, and was very accommodating when our plans changed as we figured out the somewhat confusing ferry and flight situations.

all the beaches on Vieques are public, and each is beautiful in its own way. we drove to a different beach every day and the last one, Sun Bay, was our favorite. Cielo Mar is on a small cliff overlooking rocky surf (which is amazingly beautiful) but the best beaches for swimming walking, or sitting under a palm tree, are a short walk or drive from here. The good news is, NO DEVELOPERS ALLOWED. we didnt see a single condo building or beach house from any of the public beaches. they are un-improved and unspoiled but easy to access and almost uninhabited. we'll be back soon to Vieques and we will stay at Cielo Mar!

Not enough words to explain how amazing this place is. Every single thing you need is there, the only thing you need are your clothes. Extremely clean, cozy and perfect for people traveling with children. We come to Vieques every summer and this has been our favorite spot.

Amazing stay in Vieques! Had everything you need and was close to the beach and town. We enjoyed the view, the pool, and the friendly dogs/chickens. We also took advantage of the beach chairs and scuba gear that were provided!
