Rødhættes Hus is a tiny house, which is peaceful and idyllic on the shore of Kovad Bækken, in a clearing in the middle of Rold Skov and overlooking the meadow and forest. Just a stone's throw from the beautiful forest lake St. Øksø. The perfect starting point for hiking and mountain biking in Rold Forest and Rebild Hills or as a quiet shelter in the tranquility of the forest, from which life can be enjoyed, perhaps with the mouse owl hovering over the meadow, the squirrel darting up the tree trunk, a good book in front of the wood stove or coziness in the firelight at night.

Our cottage is located in the middle of a protected natural area in Kettrup Bjerge. Here you can find peace and quiet and slow down. The area is suitable for outdoor activities, and there are plenty of trails for both cycling and hiking. The house was built in 1975 and the original style has been preserved. There is no luxury here, but plenty of peace and quiet and the opportunity for presence. Within driving distance of the house are both Blokhus and Løkken, which offer plenty of culture and dining options. Dogs are welcome, but only on the floor 😀

There is a door between the two apartments, so you can be together or separately - perfect if you are two families or a very large family who would like to go on vacation together. The apartments are located at the foot of the protected Mulbjerge, where there are beautiful sea views and good walking routes. There is a beach, restaurants, etc. in Øster Hurup, which is about 12 km south.
