Juan Antonio and Mercedes' country house has an excellent location. It is very well equipped and they left us some things that are appreciated such as coffee, milk, water, oil, salt. The village is very quiet and its people are very friendly. The hiking trails in the countryside are wonderful. The fireplace is a luxury. Very good communication.

This place was incredible!!! You can walk to town if needed, Nazare was a great host. Pool. BBQ. Very clean house. Beautiful walk in the country from the house. We will be back.

Everything is fantastic, but the rooms would benefit greatly from having mosquito nets. The night temperature was very pleasant, but you couldn't sleep with the windows open without the insects that are normal in a rural environment. The rest of the accommodation and facilities were of good quality and well stocked and clean. Perfect to disconnect.

It's been a great few days, Walter and Jantien have been super attentive and friendly. They let the kids get close to the animals and feed the chickens. Every day they left us firewood for the boiler and we didn't get cold at all. The stars at night are a sight to behold. An unforgettable experience.

when you find a place like this one can be cagey about leaving a review as, it is so good. the support from Maria and her husband who looks after the property in Tomas' absence is just second to none. As previous reviews mention it is super clean amazing quiet location but within a perimeter of some amazing towns. This is Spain with a capital S. Their so much history beautiful scenery amazing local food and just, and amazing, relaxing and accepting place to be.

A view of several charming houses along the shoreline is reflected in the calm water of the lake, surrounded by trees. A small dock extends into the water, providing access for kayaking or fishing. Lush greenery frames the scene, enhancing the tranquil environment.

The place is in a great location. Good views, a spacious house and a good place to go to disconnect. As for the cleanliness, the kitchen and certain parts of the house needed a good cleaning and some appliances such as the refrigerator or the oven need to be replaced soon. The bathrooms also had a lot of dirt, such as on the curtains in the downstairs bathroom, and on the walls. Apart from the cleanliness issue, the house itself is highly recommended. I hope Daniel can do something about it, since the house is great and could be enjoyed in better condition.

What a wonderful week we had in La Coscoja. A beautiful house with a lovely veranda and the sound of all the farm animals and birds around us. Curro and Mari Carmen are friendly and attentive. We can definitely recommend this place.

We have spent the end between friends and the truth that Maria's house has everything you need for both a long and short stay. Very well equipped. The only “pega” is that we were all adults and there is a room that is children, it is 4 bunk beds, if the adults are big as we were maybe it is something uncomfortable, but we already knew it from before.

This is a very peaceful location to stay. Linda is a welcoming host and I learned some interesting things about farming in such a dry area. I recommend a stay there and I like to come back should I visit Extremadura again.
