We just finished 5 great nights at Francesca’s house. This was the 3rd and last week of our trip around Italy and the first time I felt like I was on vacation. We kept the front shutters and door open to the veranda/sea view and it just felt perfect. There are people living on the level below and you also share an interior wall but this home is built so solidly you don’t hear any neighbors and feels completely private. Francesca provided a couple bottles of cold water in the fridge and milk for our coffee! I was so happy to find the milk and it was a very nice unexpected touch. We enjoyed making fresh coffee in the Moka pot each morning. We did not cook but necessary cooking equipment was provided. We walked easily to restaurants, Poseidon, and Giardini la Mortella. You will buy bus tickets at the Porto Forio newsstand. Once we had tickets, bus was easy with bus stop close to house. If you swim, try air bnb kayak experience with Romolo in Saint Angelo bay. It was so much fun!!

We searched through lots of accommodation and this immediately stood out. The location is magical. The amenities, we like to have the option to shop locally and cook, to have an outside kitchen was just the best! A good looking apartment making great use of space. Opening the gate on entry, walking down steps carved out of the rock, turning a corner and finding yourself looking out to sea and the colourful facade is unforgettable. We never tired of it. We felt honoured to be living amongst it, unfortunately not for long enough.

We were warmly welcomed by Salvatore who personally took us to the location from the parking lot. The lemons and drinks were ready on arrival. Salvatore was very proactive and thoughtful about the possible activities. We did a very nice kayak anyway with chasing syrens recommended by Savatore. Beautiful place that will be busier in the high season given the many restaurants and the beach. The walk to baie di leranto is highly recommended!

Pamela’s place overlooking Marina Piccolo was beautiful and spacious inside and great location for taking the ferries. (Took Ischia Ferry but accidentally got off at wrong island- Procida and loved it!) Pamela’s wonderful husband greeted us. Balcony & view were amazing. The bed was very comfortable & kitchen and bathroom great. We like toast in the morning but there was no toaster or oven so we made do with the panini maker. To get up to the town, you have to walk up quite a number of steps which we found more convenient than using the lift which is a walk down the coast. We are in our sixties & able to do it. Pamela was very helpful in booking parking for us which included a courtesy golf cart to bring us to & from our place. She also recommended & booked for us a great Amalfi Coast small group van tour. Do be aware, as others have mentioned, that there are 60 steps to get up to the apartment. Sorrento (fun restaurant scene) & this apartment were a great base for seeing Amalfi Coast.

Francesco greeted us with a smile and a helping hand up the one flight of outdoor stairs and the one flight of indoor stairs to his beautiful apartment. He, unlike other hosts, quickly accepted our last minute request to book when we realized we needed to cancel the first place we chose. He allowed us to enter even when his cleaners were quickly finishing up a last minute job for us. The apartment is on two floors - 2 BR & 2 BA on the first, and a fabulous open, light, colorful kitchen/salon upstairs with sliders to a large terrace with a table and loungers and beautiful panaromic view of the water and mountains - exactly what I had hoped for. The kitchen was equipped with the basics. Everything was clean and comfortable. Lacco Ameno is an underrated gem on Ischia. The perfect little peaceful seaside village with shops, restaurants and mildly bustling local scene day and night. Bus stop, thermal bath park and best gelateria very close. Highly recommended! Grazie mille, Francesco!

My husband and I loved staying here! Francesco was flexible with check in time and met us with the keys right outside. He even helped bring our (overpacked) bags up to the unit and gave us great recommendations. The location was perfect for us - walkable to the busy part of town (also a bus that runs to the center if you're not up for the walk), but quiet and private compared to the city center. Would definitely stay here again!

Raffaele and his place exceeded our expectations in every way! This was a perfectly private and calm property for us to enjoy during our first trip to the Sorrento coast. From the beginning, Raf was extremely flexible with us in order to meet and check-in - even after some traffic delays we experienced coming from Naples. After a late addition of a third guest, Raf even went out of his way to bring us extra bedding and towels, very much appreciated. The space is situated in a quiet cove not far from Sorrento - be prepared for a small hike down a paved road to access (or arrange for the small shuttle to take you up and down). In the end, we loved the terrace and can't wait to spend more time at Raf's place!
