While nestled on a quiet street, this unit is just minutes away from Mooney’s Bay beach, the Rideau River, Carleton, the airport, and is just a 10 min drive or bike to everything else. Well maintained, unique, cozy, charming, serene & private haven near the lake. Far enough from the big city to leave the bustling day behind but close enough to keep your commute to a minimum. From the suite, downtown Gatineau is 20min away and Ottawa is less then 30min. A room detailed by Airbnb users for Airbnb travelers being comfortable and useful with all basic commodities. This cozy cottage is located directly on the waterfront on the Ottawa river in front of Mohr island. It's perfect for a couple or small family retreat away from the city. You can relax by the water on the deck in the hot tub, take an adventure in one of the kayak’s or enjoy a campfire while watching the stars with the supplied firewood. A canoe and two kayaks with 4 lifejackets are available for guests and are included with your rental. Unfortunatly our place is not dog friendly.

A Room with a View

Wakefield waterfront on the Gatineau river. Great views of and only a few steps from the iconic covered bridge and a short walk to restaurants, pubs and cafes. Two fireplaces, two decks, and plenty of parking. This is a brand new home that we are sure you will enjoy. Respectful, courteous guests only. The magnificent views from the home and the two large decks come with some effort and this vacation paradise is not recommended for those with mobility issues.
