This charming little retreat is nestled within a beautifully kept garden, complete with a pergola and a peaceful water fountain right outside—perfect for relaxing mornings or quiet evenings. The cottage is filled with natural light and offers picturesque views from its many windows, so you're always connected to the outdoors. One of its highlights is the cozy attic—a perfect spot to curl up with a book and spend a slow, peaceful day. Located in a clean, serene neighborhood, the cottage is just a 10-minute walk from the lake's edge, making it both tranquil and conveniently placed. Fozia is a thoughtful host who goes the extra mile with her recommendations—she can connect you with a reliable shikhara boatman and a friendly auto driver who offers rides at very reasonable rates. A special touch is the delightful breakfast basket she provides, complete with homemade jams that add a personal and delicious start to the day.

The place is cozy and well-maintained, making it a great option for a stay with friends or family. Though the food options were limited, everything we ordered was delicious, and the staff was respectful and attentive throughout our stay. The rooms were clean and equipped with heaters, hot water, and electric bed warmers, which made the stay comfortable. However, there were frequent power cuts that occasionally affected access to hot water. Also, keep in mind that the property is located about 30 minutes outside of Srinagar, not within the city itself.

We had a truly lovely stay, and I must say, Rishi is an exceptional host. He went out of his way to ensure that we were comfortable in every possible way. His suggestions for places to visit, dining, and shopping were always spot-on and reliable. The property itself is stunning and well-maintained, offering a peaceful retreat. If you're looking to unwind and escape the hustle and bustle of the city this is the perfect place to relax. Highly recommended!

We were a party of 12 returning from a trek and Khalid's place was the best choice for all of us. We felt right at home throughout the stay. Khalid had called me right after booking the property and informed about dinner and breakfast availability. I am glad he called because after an exhausting week, we were treated with great food and beautiful property. Our friends have bookmarked this property to share with their friends. I am grateful to Khalid's staff to have made us feel at home.

It was an excellent experience. Mr. Vidur Wazir has a beautiful heritage property infused with family collectibles and stories dating back to generations. He himself was very friendly and knowledgeable.. the property is centrally located with clean facilities and excellent food. The helpers were also very nice and attended to every need. The place and the host exudes elegance and we highly recommend the place to get a flavour of authentic kashmir

Farmhouse - A Luxury Living

Primarily, Fahad, the host, is extremely nice and friendly. He helped us with the booking and planning of our whole trip. Spent time with us everyday, understood our needs and helped us in any and every way possible. His place, is very easily accessible, beautiful,and has all the amenities one could ask for. Even in the extreme cold, the room was made warm and cozy for us. Fahad would ensure of it before we got back from our day's journey every single day and ensured we got the best deal possible. And last but not the least, kashmir is a place that is yet to be fully explored and I don't thing it can ever be captured in just one trip, I know I'm visiting again, and would recommend everybody to, and I'm definitely going for Fahad' listing the next time and every time for that matter.

The sunvilla is a great property to stay if you are in a group of around 10 members, 4 bedrooms with dining and hamam area with wonderful garden outside is a lovely experience, just 1 thing is missing there that is paid kitchen which i felt little disappointing as every BNB includes it but they clearly mentioned about that so not their mistake. Overall everything was great there and Mr. Faisal is friendly supportive man taking care of the guests very well.

The place was peaceful, clean, and exactly what I was looking for. All amenities were well maintained, and the kitchen was fully functional — perfect for a comfortable stay. It’s conveniently located near the main road and just a short distance from Dal Lake. I stayed for 2 nights and it was absolutely worth it. A special shoutout to Yasir, the caretaker, who was incredibly kind and helpful. He checked in on me every day to make sure I had everything I needed — truly thoughtful and modest. I’d definitely love to stay here again on my next visit!

We stayed at Aamir’s place in July 2024 when we visited Kashmir for the first time with our families. Aamir, Muneer and Aadil made the entire experience extremely comfortable. The very day we arrived, we were upgraded without asking for it as they saw that my mum in law can’t walk a lot so we were given the rooms close to the entrance. We arrived quite late (around 10pm) because of flight delays and had no idea where we will find food from at this hour but they made sure that we don’t sleep hungry. They prepared a full meal this late in the night and for all days that we stayed there, even if we needed something at 1am in the night, they were all happy to help. The place is beautiful and very nicely maintained. They have a beautiful garden just behind the rooms where we had breakfast and made some core memories. Aamir also recommended some places to visit and helped make transport arrangements. Thank you for the amazing hospitality. This was home away from home.

I stayed at Tasleema ji's home with my family and it felt right at home. She is warm, welcoming, always responsive and available for all our needs. It was a pleasure to try her delicious cooking, especially Kashmiri wazwan and Kahwa. The place in itself is a full fledged home with all amenities and a beautiful garden with lovely roses, a pretty sight to wake up to. I would highly recommend staying at Tasleema ji's place, tucked in a peaceful location near airport for anyone visiting Srinagar.

I had an amazing stay. The house was just like home. We were offered a cottage which was in between lush green garden with cheery, apply and walnuts and many more. The only thing which we felt was missing was a TV in the room however the stay was amazing. 10/10 stars. Super recommend.

Its a great place, The host is extremely Warm & Helpful, They Helped us , when we were stuck Because of the snow, Came & Picked us up, which was very helpful of them to do so. Amazing Location, Away from the rush of major Tourist area. Good place to just Eat RELAX & ENJOY the Woods & Snow. Rooms are very warm & comfortable, Service is also good & Food was also good (limited options But taste was very good) Overall we had a great time!

We were a family of 11, and it felt just the one we are looking for. FZL is a super host and very responsive. Caretaker Asmit is nice boy. We ordered food for a few times, veg items were super tasty. It’s was just awesome stay for us. Every room has a room heater and electric blanket. We had a comfortable stay. We will definitely contact them next time we visit.

We were lucky we had a driver who communicated with the hosts representative who came and met us in the town on his moped to guide us to the house as previous reviewers noted that the house can be tricky to locate . It was much bigger than what we needed but was located in a nearby area to family , overall a good stay , a little overpriced compared to similar listings in the same area .

Aadil's home is a cosy place with great surroundings. We felt at home here. Aadil is a great host, so humble, responsive and helpful. what stood out for us was the hamam heating, a blessing on a cold rainy day.. Food was great too. All in all its a great place if you want a peaceful stay, away from city chaos.

everything was fantastic about the place , only one thing that kitchen wasn't available for us to use , not that we would have cooked , but sharing info for peaople who like to use kitchen, ( it is not available)
