Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Avon

We had to find a place last minute due to some unexpected circumstances, and Lori was incredibly accommodating. We only needed it for one night to fit five of us, and the three-bedroom setup was perfect. She went above and beyond by offering early check-in and late check-out, and even brought us muffins and coffee since she knew we had to hit the road early. The space was cozy, clean, and very comfortable. The Wi-Fi was a little spotty at times, but it didn’t cause any major issues. All in all, a great stay — we’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

We had the absolute best stay at Jeanie’s home! It was beautiful, spacious, and so well decorated, and the property couldn’t be more peaceful. The chickens and ducks in the backyard were so fun to watch, and really made the stay so magical. Jeanie was so helpful too, with lots of local recommendations and made our whole trip so easy! The house oozes with charm and character, and we couldn’t have loved it more!

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

Caroline was a wonderful host. We felt very welcome and appreciated the breakfast food, milk, and juice. I would definitely stay there again.

Where do we start? Communication leading up to and during our stay was wonderful! Anything you could possibly need was readily available, down to the jerk sauce in the fridge. Lol. We always purchase our own cleaning products anywhere we stay and this was the 1st time we used none of it. Down to cups and even the beverages left for us. The home was so welcoming and comfortable that we slept longer than we intended to and missed an activity we planned for. Lol. This was a spectacular AirBNB experience! We honestly couldn’t have asked for more. A 10/10 experience by far.

We went to the house during the winter, and it was absolutely magical! The place was so cozy and warm, and we had the best snow day ever. We lit the fireplace, and the whole area looked like a winter wonderland with all the snow and frozen lake. It was a truly unforgettable experience!

Lovely home settled in the perfect location right outside downtown. Perfect walking distance. Owner checked in on us, was great to meet to him. we really enjoyed our stay!

My family and I enjoyed staying in this charming and peaceful house. Just as cute as the photos promise. I especially liked having morning coffee at the bay window and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. The house is an easy drive to Catamount and other ski spots, restaurants and shopping. Darius was great to communicate with--prompt and friendly. The water pressure in the showers was low but manageable. The stairs are steep--it was fine for my 7-year-old daughter, but something to keep in mind for younger kids. We hope we get the chance to stay here again!

I absolutely enjoyed my weekend here. The home is beautiful. Everything you could possibly need was provided In the home. Everything was clean, and neat. House is filled with light. The pool and hot tub were enjoyable. The host were amazing and had great communication, assisted us when needed right away. I would highly recommend staying here, and they are pet friendly which is always a plus for me. The yard is fenced in. Which made it easy to let the dog out, and great for the dog to explore. A++++ Will probably be back sometime In the future.

This was our second time back to the pool house and it was amazing, again. We thinks of everything to make you feel welcome. Milk and eggs in the fridge. Muffins and croissants waiting for you. Pristine home. Fully stocked kitchen. I was even able to host a few family members for Christmas dinner and had everything I needed to make a lovely dinner. We also travel with two dogs and Sue is so accommodating, making our pups feel right at home. Thank you, Sue, for making our holidays away from home so peaceful and enjoyable.

We love the creation station! We stayed for one night and it simply wasn’t enough! What a cool and magical property. Inside is quite a trip. Surround sound for your listening pleasure, huge projection screen for watching tv. Comfortable beds, and the place was well kept up and clean. Outside is magical at night and the hot tub was just perfect after a long day. John was super nice and very helpful. We will certainly be back for some more fun. Great house and great host. The place was beautiful -- big kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, great bathrooms (especially in the master bedroom), nice setup outside (jacuzzi and BBQ), etc. Perfect place for a family weekend in Litchfield. Location was perfect -- a 2 minute drive to great coffee, pastries, bread, ice cream, etc. in Bantam. Liz was an excellent host -- very helpful and responsive. We'd love to visit again soon.

Stayed here for 2 nights with a couple friends. Perfect spot for a quick getaway. Backyard and pool area was exactly what we were looking for with lots of space to lounge and relax. Lots of entertainment if you wanted to just hang inside as well. As some of the other reviewers noted, you can definitely hear the hosts move around upstairs. Didn't impact us too much except for Saturday morning. Was a little difficult to sleep in b/c of the noise.

Beautiful home, exactly how it was described and looked even better in person. Incredible surrounding areas and activities. Steven was helpful throughout the stay and incredibly flexible. Wonderful host! Will definitely be planning a yearly visit.

This was a lovely home. Very easy getting inside. Everything was exactly as listed, pictured and described. We felt so cozy and welcomed by Susan. The house had everything you could possibly need to make your stay easy and convenient and was very clean. I had a few questions during our visit and Susan was extremely responsive and so kind. I highly recommend this home. The beds were very comfortable. Showers were very nice and had great water pressure and nice hot water. We truly felt at home and we're beyond satisfied. I highly recommend this home for anyone need of an Airbnb in the area. Lovely home and property.

We have stayed at a lot of AirBnBs over the years, and this is one of the absolute best! The natural light in the mornings floods the place and brings a sense of warmth to what is already an incredibly warm environment. The decor is beautiful, from the lighting to the photography and pottery. RJ and John were very responsive and helpful, and we took their recommendations on a couple restaurants and hikes which were wonderful. It is ideally located with Pound Rodge, Bedford, Ridgefield and other towns a short drive (usually 10-15 minutes at the most). We will absolutely try to book sweetbriar guesthouse again when visiting Pound Ridge.

The loft was lovely: fireplace, large balcony, view down the mountain, TV with airplay support, kitchen, etc. the surrounding was quiet and peaceful. The host was responsive and very friendly. Would recommend to others.

This was the perfect stay. I felt at home and the grounds are beautiful. The location is a perfect getaway but close to a lovely small town. The owners are great, kind, and so thoughtful. I appreciate them and everything they've done to make my stay better. It was a last minute holiday getaway and I'm so grateful they saved the day. Thank you so much! I'd definitely love to stay again.

We Enjoyed our stay with Rio. He was kind and informative. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We would definitely stay again.

Stayed here for about a month and felt right at home with spacious rooms and lots of amenities provided, being 20 degrees in winter the apartment stood very warm and clean and it was a wonderful place to call home for 30 days. Kisha was very helpful and responsive when I needed to communicate and she’s very kind. If I’m ever near the area in the near future I would definitely book here again no hesitation! Thank you!

I am 68 & I have traveled pretty extensively and have to say, this was the coziest, cleanest & well-stocked Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at - absolutely has everything you could want/need. My cousins & I kept on saying, “If we could just win the lottery and buy this place! 😀 Thank you Cail, Jayne & Dylan for sharing this little piece of Paradise! 🤗

Nice place located in a beautiful secluded house in a safe neighborhood. Gorgeous property. Our dogs were allowed and they were very comfortable. The amenities were exactly as described. Extremely clean and well maintained. The place was easy to locate and easy to access. It is convenient to many local stores and restaurants. Great, responsive hosts!

I always thoroughly enjoy my stay in Bethel. Excellent location, affordable, cozy, clean and well-kept home away from home. Jennifer is an extremely thoughtful and accommodating host. I hope to be back again soon.
