I cannot say enough how incredible both Jen and her cottage were! My husband and I went to enjoy a relaxing weekend to rest and reset. Jen was so welcoming and kind. She made sure that we were always comfortable and had anything we needed. The cherry on top: getting to tour the farm! The sweet animals were perfect. I spent most of my time outside on the swing reading and enjoying the sounds of the farm. I cannot say enough how incredible this cottage is. The sweetest little getaway!

If you want to get away from the nose and distractions, this is the place. We thoroughly enjoyed watching the sunset on the back porch and then swinging on the front porch after the sun went down. We even got to watch them harvest crawfish the next morning!

We so enjoyed Larry’s precious little cabin for two, located in such a serene Cajun country setting. There were several amazing restaurants nearby offering unique menus that you wouldn’t expect in a small community. The cabin interior was cozy with quality handcrafted details that made it so unique. It had all the amenities and more that visitors might need for a short stay. Outdoors included areas to relax, unwind, and enjoy the country solitude. Whether on the porch rockers or the dock overlooking the pond, watching and listening to the critters that inhabit the water was fun. Larry was a gracious host who communicated with us regularly and promptly responded to any questions we had during our stay. We will definitely return in the near future.

The cabin features a traditional wooden exterior with a metal roof and large porches on two levels. The structure is elevated, supported by pillars, and surrounded by lush green grass and trees. Ample outdoor space is available for relaxation.

A magical retreat we’ll never forget❤️ What an unbelievable stay! From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a hidden gem designed with love and care. The kids were all smiles—kayaking, fishing, kicking the soccer ball across the open yard, and playing cornhole under the cozy covered space beneath the cabin. One of the most peaceful moments was watching the wood ducks glide across the water at sunset, gently landing on their little house. Nature truly put on a show for us. Inside, the cabin was a dream—warm, inviting, and full of thoughtful touches. The sound of rain dancing on the tin roof was its own lullaby. The coffee bar was a delight each morning, and soaking in the garden tub with bath bombs felt like a mini spa day. Each room told a story, lovingly decorated with nods to local treasures—like the Tabasco Factory and Jungle Gardens on Avery Island, and Rip Van Winkle Gardens on Jefferson Island. It felt like the spirit of the region was wrapped into every detail

My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. We visited over a particularly nasty storm and Debora made sure there were extra lights for us just in case we lost power. When we unknowingly left an item behind, she notified us as soon as she found it and shipped it to our home that day. Debora is a wonderful and thoughtful host!

The A-Frame cabin is surrounded by lush greenery, featuring a wooden exterior and a distinctive triangular roof. A spacious deck is elevated and furnished with seating, providing access to a hot tub. Exterior steps lead to the entrance of the cabin.

Serene little getaway with all the amenities. We appreciated the washer and dryer with provided laundry pods, fully equipped kitchen, indoor + outdoor fireplaces (+ wood provided), and perhaps the jacuzzi most of all! Gorgeous scenery and secluded road for a peaceful morning/ evening stroll. Couldn’t have loved it more!

This place was amazing!! So peaceful siting outside on the deck and so many different areas to relax while at the house. There are so many amenities included to keep you busy. We enjoyed fishing off the deck while an alligator watched nearby! The neighborhood and surrounding area had so much to do. We ate so much good food and the people were all so friendly. We loved our stay here and would love to come back again, highly recommend!
