We can highly recommend Evergreen apartments. They have the most beautiful garden which is kept tidy and which has a rich birdlife. We didn't meet Sherin as she was travelling, but Jaqueline who welcomed us was very welcoming and friendly. Nice place, can only recommend it. Regards Jannik and Anne, Denmark

Michel's guest home exceeded our honeymoon expectations. This beautiful home, up on the hills overlooking the beaches of central/southern Mahe is walking distance (or a short drive if you choose to rent a car) from a calm and peaceful beach as well as a local restaurant which Michel recommended to us...it did not disappoint! My wife and I went there twice and the catch of the day was our favorite. This was one of many recommendations Michel gave to us during out stay. We even got fresh papaya from Michel local tree as a treat. If you decide you want to save some money and eat in, there is a grocery store just down the hill from the house. This air b&b is equip with all the basic cooking supplies you should need. It may be difficult to find the house off the main road, even if using navigation. There is a small sign tacked up to the electric post right as you are supposed to turn off the main road, however we still did not see it easily. We told Michel our expected arrival time and he and his family were keeping an eye for us to help once we were off the main road. We found it easier to located the house off the main road while it was still light out. We would stay here for weeks if we could. Everything is so lush and beautiful and if you look out on the balcony you can see bats flying around in the sky.

Seaside Self Catering is a beautiful and serene apartment. It's right in front of the crystal clear beach with access to shops and eateries. It easy to take an evening stroll staying here. The Lodge itself is tastefully furnished and spacious with everything you need for self catering. truly enjoyed my stay here. I would return here if I'm in Seychelles again.

Safira was a wonderful host! She was gracious enough to let us check in early. The apartment is a nice size and had an amazing view facing west- the sunsets were lovely! I appreciated the daily cleaning, local recommendations, help making any excursion reservations, and attentiveness to get the hair dryer fixed during our stay. I suggest renting a car because it is a steep climb to the apartment but would highly recommend this place.

Our stay here was great. The apartment is large, spacious, well equipped, the pool is a great option. Close to the bus stop, a 20-minute walk to a beautiful beach and plenty of dining options. The hosts are very kind, helpful, they helped us organize transport to the airport, great contact during whole stay. Easy check-in. Thank you for everything !! Greetings from Poland :)

I would like to share my positive experience with my recent stay at your place. The stay was just amazing! The view of the sea was breathtaking and made my vacation very special. The bathroom was well maintained and offered everything you could ask for. I would particularly like to emphasize the kindness of the host, who always tried to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. Check-in and check-out went smoothly, making the whole process very straightforward. I would highly recommend this place!

We had a lovely stay here with Lucy being such a lovely host making us feel at home at the get go. The rooms were clean and spacious to make a family feel comfortable and at ease. Thanks Maricel! The host Lucy was kind enough to recommend a car with a tour guide who was fantastic for his know-how, friendliness and care. Charges reasonably and ensured to take us at scenic views a few off the beaten path. He also has handy arrangements like ice box, umbrella, cushions etc for a rainy day. We would highly recommend Clinton if you want to explore Seychelles through the eyes of a local. We will definitely be staying at Lucy's for a longer stay the next time around for the warmth and love she has left behind with us.

We had a wonderful time at the house. It is spacious and very well-equipped. Everything was clean upon arrival. Communication with Lessy was very easy and she was able to answer our questions. Our arrival, welcomed by her sister Sultane, went perfectly. She was very charming and had the thoughtful attention to bring us fruit from her garden. A treat. We particularly appreciated the garden and the sublime view of Anse à la Mouche. In addition to all these positive points about the house, Sultane was of immense help to us because we needed a doctor urgently. She didn't hesitate to pick us up in the evening and take us to the clinic for a medical consultation and even brought us back the next morning with the medication. We thank her very much for that. We highly recommend this listing and the support of its hosts and thank you for this stay

When we arrived at Airbnb, we were down from a bad experience with another host. Well, Agnelle and Francis were the exact opposite and proof of the real Creole welcome! Very kind, helpful, they met us in every way with flexible check-in, also welcoming us with treats and preparing us a dinner (fantastic!), despite only staying one night. The house is perfectly maintained and the neighborhood is very quiet, immersed in greenery and close to the beaches. Although we couldn't see much of Mahe due to the weather we will bring a nice memory of the city thanks to Agnelle and Francis. We will recommend this airbnb to all our friends coming to Seychelles

We throughly enjoyed staying at Villa Bougainvillea.. it was the best place that we stayed at during the whole trip. Mary really looked after us from the moment we booked and even arranged our car rental for us. The Villa was extremely spacious, well equipped and was immaculately clean. We appreciated the local fruit that was left for us as well as all the friendly advice. The Villa is peaceful and in a great location for exploring the south of Mahe. We would definitely recommend.

We had a very nice stay at Verona Self Catering. Hazel and her family were very friendly hosts which made our stay very comfortably. They also arranged a rental car for a good price and gave advise where to go for eating and shopping in the neighbourhood. We felt very welcome and save. We would definately recommend Verona Self Catering.

We loved our stay here. The cottage was surrounded by nature, and the view from the porch was beautiful. It was very private and peaceful, a great place to escape a busy and chaotic world. Our host was lovely, communicative and helpful. She brought fresh fruits often and even a flower one day. The space was sparkly clean and the accessibility to a washing machine for laundry was a bonus. Grateful to have found such a perfect place to stay in Seychelles, hoping to make it back for another stay in the future.

The location of the villa is stunning to walk out of the villa in the morning through the coconut trees and straight on to the pristine white beach was just fabulous. Marlene and her staff at the villa are just fantastic. So helpful and thoughtful. They kept the villa spotless even with my kids dragging in sand each day. Marlene got the coconuts cut down so one day we had fresh coconut water and flesh for breakfast. Another day she came in with a whole papaya. We will definitely be back to stay here again. Can’t wait.

The Seychelles has been our best vacay with sunbathing, hiking, snorkeling, diving, Easter church services, surrounded by the most beautiful nature! We loved the Seychelles as well as Marcella's place! It is clean, spacious, well-furnished, and the view is absolutely amazing! Marcella was very responsive, and helped us kindly incl. late check-out. We would not recommend coming without a car but also enjoyed walking to the beach and restaurants sometimes. The location is great for a start, maybe staying in the south or one of the other islands is worth a consideration next time. One downside may be the price. Others are temporary construction noise around, missing refills (e.g. toilet paper) or on request (e.g. salt, trash bags), no AC in the living room, in the bedrooms it didn't always cool down, and parking can be tricky. After stays in 2017 and 2018, we were now guests again with Roy and his family. We have already stayed in all 3 apartments and can especially recommend the middle one (= largest with second bedroom, if there should be several people or parents with children) and the top apartment (here we also stayed this year) with great views of the sea. The apartment was super clean and comfortably furnished. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. There is also a washing machine in the bathroom. The location is central on Mahe, a good starting point in all directions. Rental car is necessary. The driveway is very steep but doable (turning off air conditioning helps uphill). The Google Maps directions are incorrect. When you pass the bus depot, you have to keep straight ahead and do not turn right. Many thanks to Roy and his adorable family for the great time! Absolutely recommended!

I Highly recommend Maryse’s place. She and Chris have been amazing host to us. The olive tree residence is 8-10 mins from the city, uphill amidst nature where you can hear the sound of breeze blowing , birds chirping, an amazing view of the ocean and fog at times. It’s overall an amazing place to get a detox from the hustle and bustle of city life. For those who prefer using public transportation, the bus stop is just a minute walk. Airport is approx 15 mins drive by car from the location. There are amazing restaurants at Eden island which is a 10 min drive from the residence. Maryse and Chris are warm and welcoming and have been always responsive to our questions and also guided us with local recommendations. The house was well equipped, spacious and spotless. The garden area is full of flower and fruit plantations. We wish we stayed there longer. Without a second thought, we would book this place when we visit Seychelles again.

Andrea is now a native German immigrant. She has come to Mahé for love and has now lived on Mahé for over 35 years. This results in a European standard in your accommodation, very clean, very tidy, combined with the Seyschelles aesthetics. The house with its completely self-contained apartments is very nicely located, nestled in wonderful nature with tropical bird sounds. The view is characterized by two huge mango trees some palm trees, other also very nice houses, a beautiful church and the sea. A turtle also happened to pass by. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Andrea is very mindful of environmental protection. We visited 4 homes in the Seychelles. Andrea's place was the only one with garbage separation and compost. But an extra thumbs up and continue a lot of pleasure and a beautiful life for Andrea and her son! In general, you should use a rental car on Mahé.

Beau Bassin was a very neat and clean space. We appreciated the quiet surroundings and kind helpful neighbors. It was a very good place to stay with a kind and flexible host.

Very cozy apartment with one of the best location. BBQ zone is amazing, we cooked the fish every evening (grocery store is close to the property or you can fishing here by yourself). Variety of beaches to choose - it is a great advantage of that place. The owner was in touch during our stay and was ready to assist quickly. I hope we return here soon.

Good accommodation, very clean and spacious apartment. Everything worked well and Roy was a very responsive and helpful host. His wife surprised us with a plate of fresh fruit and some birthday cake which was absolutely delicious. I would recommend this Airbnb.
