Great value for money! Close to the beach, the rooms are nice and the exterior private bath is a great plus. I enjoyed the onsen as well, and the host was very kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place.

Mama-San and Papa-San are some of the best people I’ve met. They are very kind and very personable. I felt like I was at home or at my grandparents house. They gave me great recommendations on things to do in the area. They treated us like family. I would go back in a heartbeat. They also have great food

Lovely hostel in a great spot less than a minutes walk away from a stunning view of Mount Fuji, breakfast was recommended at a cafe at check in for a great price and was lovely food in the morning. Very clean shared spaces and a lovely place to spend a night near the mountain! Would highly recommend

A nice accommodation, with a lot of equipment in the kitchen like fresh coffee, snacks etc. The check-in was very flexible and smooth. We were able to reserve a free parking space before checking in. Also the receptionist was very friendly and had a lot of good tips for restaurants and activities in the area. All in all a great and good value stay if you don’t want to spend too much!

Absolutely incredible. From start to finish the best experience I’ve had on Airbnb. From included transfer to and from the station to the house. To the amazing hospitality from Tohru and his wife. They made you feel so at home, with their friendly conversation. I have never met two people who were so jubilant with happiness. A complete utter privilege to be staying with them. If you do not book here you are missing out. Thank you again so much Tohru and please pass on our gratefulness to your wife as well.

Beautiful place totally exotic in the middle of nature. The feeling of being at the end of the world, just two hours from Tokyo. Very warm welcome from Jun (who picked us up from the train station then drove us home the next day ), delicious dinner and breakfast and possibility to swim in the house's Onsen for a magical moment at the end of the day. Exceptional place that we are not ready to forget. Thanks to Jun and his wife 🙏🏻

Amazing location for a ryoken stay with views of Mt. Fuji. We loved the onsen and traditional breakfast. Hosts were so friendly and drove us to a restaurant in the evening and to Hakone Ropeway in the morning. The only note is the the place is not where airbnb says it is. We expected it to be by Hakone Yumoto so had to re-plan the route when we realised!

We had a very nice view of Fuji mountain from our room and onsen!

The host is warm and hospitable, very considerate from check-in to check-out.The accommodation is quiet and elegant, surrounded by greenery, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, perfect for relaxing and getting rid of work stress.

Amazing hotel, with views of Mount Fuji - had the Onsen to myself in the morning which was incredible. The reception when above and beyond to accommodate our requests as the logistics in this area can be a little tricky (it’s mountainous so if you don’t have car, you need to navigate the public buses, cable cars and taxi situation). This was all make super easy with their help - which allowed us to enjoy the sights of Hakone across two days. It’s also very close lots of the attractions. Would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful place to stay! A bit far from restaurants and other stores but if you drive it’s no problem.

A great, very nice host family. Maki's breakfast was very tasty and the onsen a great relaxation in the evening. Maki's husband even drove us to the train station on the last day, very nice! A beautiful ryokan!

It was a great experience. The room is very large and very nice. The balcony blues are super beautiful. I also experienced a rainy day and made my own soup. It was a new experience in life.
