Nishimura Residence is a traditional Nara machiya (townhouse) over 110 years old.I renovated “Grandma’s place,” where I spent a long period of my childhood, and opened it as an inn in 2019.Since the Nara machiya has been preserved in its original state, there are many inconveniences, and it is not a luxurious hotel where everything is provided. 　On the other hand, I think it’s the perfect place to soak up the “cozy, rustic” atmosphere that permeates Naramachi.In the hope of helping guests “reflect and rejuvenate” in an environment away from the hustle and bustle of the station, we provide books in the room and a vegetarian-style breakfast.(Almost all of the books in the room are available for purchase.) 　Please spend this evening in the tranquility of the Nishimura residence and Nara-cho, listening to the voice of your own heart.

Imai-cho, where the old streets from the Edo period still exist, is also a highlight. Kashinoki-an is a pure Japanese-style house built over 60 years ago, and you can also enjoy the garden. The kitchen and bathroom have been renovated for a pleasant stay. There is also a tourist information center, restaurant, tavern, supermarket, drug store, convenience store, and 100-yen shop nearby, making it very convenient. This is a newly renovated old Japanese house, a middle-class residence built in 1929 and renovated in 2017. It is a legal accommodation permitted by the city of Osaka. Located in the southern part of Osaka, a very quiet residential area. 10 minutes away from the nearest subway station, Kishinosato. It is easy to reach Namba, Umeda by subway, KIX and Koyasan by Nankai Railway. The 7-11 convenience store is one minute away. The Sento public bath is also very close to my house.

Hinoki house: Traditional machiya, walk to sights.

A newly renovated machiya town house with typical layout and a small garden, retaining the tradition of Naramachi - the old merchant town of Nara. Easy access via bus and train, supermarket, restaurants, convenience store, bakery, and a Japanese bath house just minutes away. This house belonged to a famous wood carver of "ittobori" - a traditional Nara technique of carving the wood. A projector and a record player will make your stay even more pleasant. Enjoy!

Our house is traditional Japanese style house. 150 years old and in a very quiet location. We are renting house. Not shared with other guests. There are 2 bedrooms(Tatami-room) and 1 living room, gameroom, bathroom, shower toilet, all of the room are only for you. *Children is free of charge if your children don't need a bed and break fast. There are air conditioners in bedroom and livingroom.

JR Nara: 4 min walk, Kyoto: 50 min, Osaka: 1 hr.

Our hotel is a 5-minute walk from JR Nara Station, ideal for exploring Nara and its cuisine. Near the 100-year Hall for events and concerts. We have a total of 4 rooms available. We offer luxury amenities and an unmanned check-in system for convenience. Osaka and Kyoto are 40 minutes by train.
