Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Assenede

We felt very comfortable in the house. Unfortunately, it was only 3 days that were filled with a lot of program, so we could hardly enjoy the beautiful house and the great garden. The house was loving, cozy and very practically furnished, the beds were comfortable and everything sparkling clean. Leen was totally sweet and accommodating, responded directly to questions and helped. We will be happy to come back!

We had a very nice time over a long weekend with several generations. Super nice house with a great garden. We had rain and sunshine and both are equally beautiful! If you like it cozy, just turn on the fireplace. The immediate area is great for beautiful walks. A mini supermarket is a 7-minute walk away, where there are really delicious chocolate croissants🤗. The house lacks nothing and is super cozy and perfectly divided. We'll be back!

We had a very good stay Everything (and more) was present in the cottage. Great to stay there with 2 families. Recommended. Sometimes there was an annoying smell in the garden, presumably due to the chickens that stayed nearby.

Beautiful house. We had a wonderful week’s holiday. We were lucky with the weather. Sheep and chickens intrigued our 2 year old. I struggled with the stairs as they were so narrow and steep but there was a bedroom downstairs. Thank you Ann.

Everything matched the description! We were with our family, 8 adults, for 3 nights in the big house. Everything looked super sleek, clean and well-groomed, cozy and neat. Very nice large bedrooms divided over the 2 floors, with both a bathroom and toilet. At the back, a clear view with a cozy garden and good garden furniture. The "bonus" was the pool room, super fun! Within 2 minutes at a nice Spar with a large assortment. And of course Bruges and Ghent are a short drive away. Ellen responded super quickly to our questions with comprehensive answers. We were in a very warm weekend but with the air conditioning we had no reason to complain inside. Finally, if I may give 1 “point of attention” it is the lack of sun protection or parasol at the rear. In fairness, I have to say that we didn't ask a question about this either, so maybe it was somewhere.

We really enjoyed the beautiful location. It is a cozy and cozy cottage which looks beautiful with a stove that creates a good atmosphere. Koen also indicated that he was always available and proved this as well. It is nice that it was easy to drive to Ghent and that we could still enjoy nature in peace. All in all a fantastic place to stay and had time!

We were completely satisfied with the stay. Check-in would have been possible much earlier, the place was sparkling clean and lovingly prepared upon arrival. The hostess was always quickly available to us and very helpful. The house itself is freshly renovated and ultra-modern. The garden is large and the beach is reachable in a few minutes' walk. The parking space for four vehicles right by the house is also great. We enjoyed the stay very much and can recommend Grete and the accommodation without reservation.

We had a wonderful stay, so peaceful and great get away if you love in a city. Stunning farmland around with lovely local markets on at the weekend!

We had a lovely stay at Domnique's, greatly enjoyed being able to park our car to freely visit Brussels. The garden is beautiful this season, and the neighborhood is quiet. A beautiful oasis to discover! Thank you Dominique!

The three of us felt very comfortable at Ans. However, it would be too small for 4 people. But it's super furnished and equipped. Absolutely everything there and in sufficient quantity. Very nicely located in the middle of nature and nice neighborhood. Were always quick to walk to the lake.

The accommodation is in a quiet residential area, with the metro nearby and a restaurant nearby (10-min walk).

Beautiful stay in a central and quiet location We had a great time in Gapinge! The accommodation is very quiet yet centrally located – perfect for exploring the beautiful surroundings by bike. Directly from the house, well-developed bike paths lead through fields and small villages to the magnificent beaches of the region. We were particularly enthusiastic about the charming places nearby: Middelburg with its historic alleys and great cafes, the picturesque Veere right on the water and Vlissingen with its lively promenade – all easily accessible by bike. The accommodation itself was very well maintained, well equipped and offered plenty of peace and quiet. We felt comfortable from the first moment. An ideal starting point for anyone who wants to experience nature, the sea and typical Dutch culture. We will be happy to come back!

The price/quality ratio of the apartment was very good! With the location in the middle of Ghent, you get a good idea of the city. Everything was clean and Nicolas helped us well with questions. It was very hot at our place (31 degrees) so the first night was quite sweaty. Fortunately, two fans were brought in the morning, so we did not suffer from the heat the second night. The only downside was that the shower sometimes smelled like sewage, but that's the only thing. All in all, had a very nice weekend.

We enjoyed our stay at Quinta's place very much. Beautiful log cabin with wonderful jacuzzi and spacious garden where our dog could run. Highly recommended!

The location was just excellent and the perfect place for us to explore Belgium & The Netherlands. It is so peaceful and quiet, plenty of space to relax. We visited with our four year old cocker spaniel, who had a great time. The road to the property is extremely bumpy but well worth the slow and steady journey! Although you are out in the wilderness, which is very relaxing, there are also so many amenities within a ten minute drive. All the locals are so very friendly. My wife who is a huge nature lover, spotted plenty of birds, bunnies and even a deer! Not that it is the owners or properties fault at all, just part of the wilderness, but we did have quite a few ticks on our dog from the garden - so just ensure they are up to date on treatment and have a tick comb handy! Anne was a wonderful host and stayed in touch throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We would not hesitate to return in future.

A beautiful little retreat for me and my dog! Perfectly equipped with an extremely comfy bed and speedy wifi. The weather took a turn for the worse, so I did not really get to enjoy the outdoors… but the giant windows by the bed really helped create the cosiest of environments. Perfect for one, may be a little tight for two… but overall I returned home feeling completely relaxed thanks to my stay here!

We greatly enjoyed this place. Completely unwind in a green environment with lots of privacy. Ideal destination to spend a sunny winter weekend, but also the sound of the rain on the roof and the crackling of the fireplace make you forget the outside world. Everything was neat and tidy. The cottage is nicely decorated and really everything you could need is there. The ideal way to completely relax and enjoy the tranquility (but also the birds, bunnies and the heron that lands just in front of you). Of course, the jacuzzi and hot tub complete the whole thing, but even the outdoor toilet really belongs to the off grid project! Great! We'd love to come back!
