Apartment vacation rentals in Ashland County

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Hillside Suites. It was in a perfect location, close to restaurants, shops, and the Ferry to Madeline Island. We were able to effortlessly ride our bikes to the ferry dock & hop on the ferry. Our room was a comfortable retreat after long days of adventuring around Bayfield. Our on-site host was very helpful in recommending places to see & things to do. She even shared a plate of freshly baked cookies with us on a rainy day. Our room was well stocked with everything we needed & more. The outdoor patio with beautiful flowers made the outside a tranquil spot to relax. We loved our stay!

Mike’s place is in an excellent location on Madeline Island - just minutes to walk to the ferry and various restaurants in Le Pointe. The unit is quaint, clean, and as described. Guests should recognize that there is only a small kitchenette (no hot plate or oven, but a microwave), so plan accordingly. The mini fridge can hold a small quantity of food to make sandwiches, have cereal, etc, but major meals will likely be out of the unit. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The AC unit worked well. There is no door between the bedroom and main room, so noise travels easily throughout the space. We really enjoyed our time on Madeline Island, and this location was perfect as our “home base” for the week.

The place was in a perfect location. We could walk or bike to wherever we wanted. Bike & Moped rentals, restaurants, bakery, coffee shop & fun bar all within a block or 2. Furniture was comfortable & plenty of outdoor seating with view of the lake.

Very clean and cozy. The WiFi wasn’t working which was frustrating as there’s zero cell signal. Otherwise it was very comfortable!

Perfect location. Loved watching the boats coming in and out of the harbor from the porch. Place was clean, bed was comfortable and I loved the decor.

Beautiful private area just minutes from downtown Bayfield. A fun park in the area for the kids! accomodations were great. We loved the games that were provided in the cabin. We had everything we needed!

Perfect location. Plenty of parking for our snowmobile trailer. We enjoyed being able to ride our sleds straight from the property to the trail. Convenient location to restaurants/entertainment. We had a little confusion figuring out what unit was ours but the host was helpful and responsive. My only complaint is the bed frames were more wobbly than we are used to. Otherwise our stay was wonderful. We would stay again!

Mike was a great host. Reached out with everything we'd need to know and even added some important reminders. We loved our stay! Super convenient to walk to restaurants and all of the La Pointe attractions.

Our hosts were wonderful. Very communicative and accommodating. They went the extra mile to ensure our stay was good. The house was fun, comfortable and perfect for our group.

We spent the holiday weekend here celebrating my parents 60th birthday. The place was clean, cozy, and in a great location. Walkable to everything and nice that it had its own parking spot. The were extremely responsive to any questions/concerns we had and were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a getaway to Bayfield!

An incredible space at the end of a private drive, overlooking the lake. The space was warm and welcoming, literally and figuratively! Loved the front sitting room with floor to ceiling windows to sit and sip coffee and enjoy the views. The proximity to the neighboring Houghton Falls preserve was enjoyed using the trail on the property. Peaceful, relaxing, made use of the large fire pit outdoors with the lake in the background. Close enough to town if you forget something and need to run in real quick, otherwise peaceful privacy to enjoy nature and the beautiful surroundings.

Loved staying in Suite 3, very clean, comfortable and the front porch was wonderful! Perfect location, walking distance to everything in the immediate town area of LaPoint. I realize my stay was during a bit of the off-season, but it was very quiet and peaceful during the evening and for sleeping. Highly recommend. I would definitely stay here again.

I had a great stay. The apartment was clean and comfortable and very easy to get in and out of. Enjoyed getting to explore the UP and the Porkies!

This is a great space for a group! The pictures don't clearly show how spacious it is. Plenty of room to make meals, lounge, relax in the sun room, etc. It's right off a hiking trail and has beautiful views. Very close to town and walking distance to a delicious little bakery.

Great place to stay with alot of amenities. I would definitely stay here again.

Very nice apartment and Yan was friendly and easy to work with. We’ve had some unseasonably hot weather this week and the AC unit hadn’t yet been installed for the season. Yan cheerfully brought a large tower fan that cooled the place down well. I will book again for my next visit to Ironwood.

Beautiful location. Super clean. Hot tube was wonderful after skiing. Grest location to drive to other attractions. Would absolutely stay there again

My family and I were very happy with: the location, the great water view from the balcony, the attached bookstore (a must visit), everything you need in Bayfield being within walking distance (including the ferries to the Apostle Islands & the Saturday morning farmer's market), the long list of amenities in the apartment, the cleanliness of the apartment, easily accessible parking spaces, and the quick and thorough responses from the hosts. Some patrons at the bar next door were laughing & having fun a little loudly outside on Friday night when we were going to bed, but the sound machines that were available in each of the bedrooms easily took care of it for us. (Saturday night, the patrons were quiet, but we still enjoyed using the sound machines.) We needed help with the airbed and the hosts took care of it promptly. We would definitely stay here again!
