Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Arusha Region

My mother and I stayed at Ole's place for a week to attend my son's graduation from UWCEA. The home was beautiful and a nice place to relax. The watchman met us to open the gate for us and the keybox was easy to use to access the house. On a clear day, you can sit on the back porch and enjoy views of Kilimanjaro in the late afternoon. Ole provides helpful tips on using the kitchen, and there are facilities for washing clothing as well. I would recommend it for anyone looking for a place in Shantytown who either has a private vehicle, is willing to use motorbikes for transport, or who doesn't mind walking to Lema Rd to look for a bajaji.

We had such a wonderful stay at Gian's place - the house and garden are lovely and it was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. It's beautifully furnished, the kitchen is well-equipped and we loved the extra little touches, as well as the open fireplace - just what we needed in the rain! Barbara was very responsive and helpful in providing local recommendations. To top it all off, it's ideally located a short drive from Arusha National Park.

My partner and I enjoyed Careen’s place. It was exactly as photographed. Ayoub the house manager assisted us well and was mostly available when needed. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant and quiet stay.

The house of Cecile is perfect for a family. The rooms are big and clean. Outside it’s possible to let the kids playing, because everything is safe due to a fence. For a quick breakfast, lunch or dinner there is a restaurant (Medan Lodge) very near to the house. Other local shops are very closed as well.

Stayed here for one night and were very happy. Very friendly people, nice accomodation in a beautiful neighborhood. :)

To the Kenyans travelers especially- this place has 4 stand alone two bedrooms houses that can accommodate a big group with enough parking for min 8 cars. Its a km or two from the Arusha bypass road and just 300m or so from tarmac. The host is the friendliest i have encountered so far. I would highly recommend.

Very clean place with comfortable bed in the double room we had in the Mufasa place. Mary and Mina are very kind and hospitable and Richard is very helpful with quick responses. Highly recommend this place! Would definitely come back!

The home is great and wonderful. It was a home away from home. I would like to thank Peter for his hospitality and generosity. We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to stay there during our next visit. Communication was excellent. I will recommend the place to any potential client, you will no doubt love it.

I enjoyed staying at Nana's, the location is close to restaurants and supermarkets, peaceful surroundings. The bed was super comfortable and also the pillows. The fans help with cool breezeif somehow hot. House was clean, organized, nicely decorated and it made me feel like at home 🏡 Shower water had good pressure and hot. The wifi connection was fast and stable, very good in case of work or watching movies in the big TV. I would recommend Nana's home and will book again when in Arusha. Ahsante sana!

We had a wonderful stay! The flat is beautiful, clean and cozy. The place is quiet and peaceful. Isaac is a real Superhost, he is always available, helping you with any requests and he will find the best solutions for you! He also offers more tourist services which makes your stay and experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. His team is there for your all the time (easy check-in, safe gate, requests/help, recommendations). You won‘t regret staying in Isaac‘s beautiful Dahari Home in lovely Moshi. BOOK THIS! We LOVED our stay. Ndani House made us feel like we were in a safe haven/garden at all times. The place itself was better than the photos, we had the pool all to ourselves each time which we were curious about, the team was SO kind and helpful. Jerome helped get us food from a local shop, went with us at night when we wanted to get something and he didn’t want us going alone, washed our car daily, and the rest of the staff was also extremely helpful. Sable square is about 10 minutes away and has tons of shops! Our fave was artisan coffee and we were able to get anything delivered as need be. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, safe and restful space you need to book. Can’t wait to go back !!

Check-in was smooth. When we didn't have any Tanzanian shillings on the day of our arrival, Ally even lent us money for the food and took extra time to get something to eat with us. Overall, the stay was extremely satisfactory and Ally is an excellent host.

My stay at Jo city Homes was absolutely wonderful! From the moment I arrived, I felt right at home. The apartment was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, and public transportation. Also, The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive.

Savana’s place was beyond my expectations in terms of comfort but also style. Henceforth, if it is free, I’d like to use her beautiful place to stay whenever I am I Arusha.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay and can recommend Westwood without hesitation. The apartment is newly renovated, extremely well cleaned and maintained, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The apartment is within walking distance of several downtown attractions and a short and affordable cab ride to other locations. We wanted to try an Airbnb to avoid having to get multiple hotel rooms and Westwood was perfect. It was very spacious and extremely comfortable. We strongly recommend this to all travelers, especially those who plan an extended stay in Arusha. It’s a wonderful value!!

We had a very nice stay at the Meru Farm. Very confortable and clean room, with attached bathroom, and small living room. We enjoyed the terrace and the quiet garden. Esther, who take care of the house is amazing. And Francis, who help us for few transfer is really kind also. Perfect spot for long term stay if you want to be out of the city center and have a "home feeling".

A lovely and peaceful place, centrally located within walking distance to most things... I felt comfortable and will miss the coffee and good conversations with my host – especially on the terrace with a view of hummingbirds and other birds in the lush garden.
