Die Entscheidung in Soroa halt zu machen, war eine wertvolle Berreicherung. Virginia hat mich herzlich aufgenommen und wir konnten uns gut austauschen. Sie wohnt alleine, ihre liebe Schwester neben an - Frauenpower pur :-) Ihr Garten wurde leider vom Zyklon ziemlich verwüstet. Sie würde sich bestimmt über helfende Hände freuen, freiwillige 'Gärtner' sind Willkommen! Frühstück und Abendessen kann ich sehr empfehlen, sogar ein paar Getränke kann man bei Ihr erwerben. Soroa ist ein einfaches Dorf, an sanft geschwungenen Bergrücken gelegen. Zum runterkommen perfekt und um Kuba authentisch kennenzulernen. Es lädt zu Spaziergängen ein. Der Wasserfall ist ein Highlight! Ein Ausritt oder mit dem Fahrrad sowie ein Besuch nach Las Terazzas, wenn möglich sind zu Empfehlen. Super casa dans un jardin botanique magnifique, espace de repas top sur une petite pergola, acceuil très gentil et amical, Maybe, la femme de Jorge parle bien anglais. Super petit-déjeuner et repas du soir. Ils nous ont même dépanner de leurs propres médicaments (alors que très rares à Cuba !) pour une mauvaise toux. Nous recommandons absolument !!

Wunderschöner großer Garten, Schaukelstühle auf sehr gemütlicher Veranda. Wahnsinnig sauber und schön eingerichtet, riesige Portionen sehr gutes und äußerst empfehlenswertes Essen. Aber vor allem unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Ganz tolle Menschen!!! Sehr empfehlenswert für Familien mit Kindern!

Virginia estuvo muy atenta facilitándonos transporte para llegar, comida y desayuno riquísimo! Se pueden hacer varias cosas de interés por Soroa!

Nous avons été très contents du logement, et de l’hôte qui a été très gentille tout le long de notre séjour. Maria est très attachante et gentille. Elle nous a accueilli très chaleureusement. Elle nous a gentiment donné un anti moustique. Le lit est confortable, la chambre dispose de l’air conditionné. De l’eau et des boissons sont disponibles au frais dans un frigo à disposition. Le logement se situe a 20 min de marche des activités de soroa et c’est parfait. N’hésitez pas à vous arrêter chez Maria pour vous promener à Soroa.

Mireya and her family were extremely nice and welcoming. To sit in the tropical garden is very relaxing and we saw several hummingbirds. Thank you!

Hôtes charmants et accueillants, très disponibles et nous nous sommes régalés tous les jours, Miriam est une excellente cuisinière. Le lieu est très agréable et reposant, beaucoup de fleurs, un très beau jardin. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux. Belles balades autour à pied ou avec la voiture de Roberto.

Une casa très confortable, très moderne au sein d’une famille des plus gentilles. Il y a un grand espace extérieur qui nous permet de de reposer. A recommander sans hésiter, c’est un hôte de grande qualité

We actually did not get to meet Luis but we were absolutely delighted by Dayessi. The national blackout was several days underway and so retrieving directions from phones was impossible; Dayessi went the distance to make sure we found the property in the dark and welcomed us as though we were her long-lost family. She ran a generator to cool our rooms and served us enough food for dinner to last several meals. She personally drove to the airport 4 times to connect our family members to their flights back to different parts of the U.S. and when there was a pause between trips she invited us to join her to a farmer's market where we experienced how locals grocery shop. On the way to and from the airport, she was stopped by various people who waved or even leaned in the window to hug her. I observed that Dayessi has a knack for "collecting" people and animals in need. We were privileged to be among those for whom her heart makes room. She made us feel safe during the crisis.

Esperienza molto rilassante, immersi nella natura e nei suoi suoni. Il posto è vicino al villaggio Las Terrazas che si raggiunge a piedi in 5 minuti. Ci sono anche le belle pizze del fiume San Juan, che si possono raggiungere a piedi in circa 20 minuti. Ci ha aiutato anche a trovare un taxi per visitare il Cafetal Buenavista, e organizzato una escursione guidata a piedi Si può cenare e fare colazione nella struttura e lo consiglio!

Hostinel je velmi milý a ochotný pomoci v jakékoliv situace. Místo púvodního domu nám nabídl jiný, který měl solární panely, což díky výpadkům elektřiny na Kubě bylo velmi užitečné - pří výpadku nefungovala jen klimatizace. Snídaně byla pestrá a velmi chutná. Na večeři jsme měli jeden den kuře a druhý den Ropa vieja (trhané hovězí maso). K jídlu byla vždy polévka. Jídlo bylo vždy vynikajíci. S Alexandrem jsme byli na výletě po okoli, které je moc pěkně. Doporučuji totohoto hostile. Dobře se stará o své klienty.

Super accueil. Famille sympathique Petit déjeuner inclus bon et complet. On peut garer la voiture dans le terrain en toute sécurité. Endroit très calme la nuit. Au top après avoir visité las terrazas et la cascade de soroa.

El lugar es encantador, la habitacion impeccable y sobretodo el jardin maravilloso con varias terrazas donde es facil de quedar para disfrutar del ambiente tropical ! Estuvimos super bien atendidos de manera muy profesional por Jorge Luis. Yo recomiendo.

Giselle was great. She gave me a tour of her garden. All of the food she served was grown in her own garden. The only issue is that the location provided by the link on the Airbnb is incorrect. The casa is located up on the mountain in Soroa not in Candelaria. The address provided is correct which is how I found it.

I had a great time at Aliuska's place! The room is exactly as described and surrounded by a beautiful garden. I enjoyed spending the evening looking at sunset from the porch. For those interested: Aliuska and her husband are artists, and their art is on display! I also use this opportunity to recommend Alex, a local guide that Aliuska put me in touch with: Alex knows about everything of Soroa and the nature that surrounds it, including Aliuska's garden and its history. Would recommend his guidance if you decide to stroll around!

This is a setting perfect for art and nature lovers. The environment is full of quality art and close walking to the orchid garden which is amazing, the top views and also a little beautiful waterfall. A hotel is very close walking for evening drinks and a walkable restaurant. Dinner and breakfast at home was delicious with delicate touches , flavors and absolutely lovely. She can arrange transportation and connect with art and tours in Havana

¡Una estancia maravillosa! Desde el primer momento, la anfitriona fue absolutamente encantadora: atenta, amable y siempre dispuesta a ayudar, lo que hizo todo el proceso muy sencillo y agradable. Se notaba que realmente se preocupa por ofrecer una excelente experiencia. La estancia superó mis expectativas. Todo estaba impecablemente limpio y bien cuidado. La ubicación era perfecta, y el ambiente del lugar era tranquilo y acogedor. Sin duda, recomendaría este alojamiento a cualquiera que busque una experiencia cómoda y sin complicaciones. ¡Volvería sin pensarlo dos veces!

Gabriela’s place is a little ways up the hill in Cabañas, it’s a calm neighborhood and they cook good food. Muchas Gracia Gabriela y tu familia!

This was a lovely place to stay! It is beautifully situated and easy to get to the village centre on foot. Mariano was a great communicator and was very helpful, flexible and friendly. He organised a fantastic birdwatching tour with a local artist and his wife cooked us lovely breakfasts and arranged reservations for us at a great vegetarian place in the village (El Romero). The room and bathroom are spacious and the front balcony provides excellent views of the mountains. The natural swimming pools are nearby too. We’d recommend here for Las Terrazas!
