Carl met us when we pulled in. Could talk with him and his wife forever. Discovered later on that my daughter’s boyfriend and Carl might be distant cousins. Felt like the place was ours to use, come and go as we pleased, very accommodating for our snowmobiles etc.

Mark's place was easy to find and check into. It was very clean and exactly as described. The pull out couch was neat. I had all the pans and things I needed to cook a quick meal. My oldest said the bed was comfortable too. Definitely a good deal for a quick trip.

Effrem was a great host! He responded to any questions promptly and the place was perfect for our group. I would recommend this stay for anyone looking for a good bit of space and a nice, quiet place to relax in. Everything we needed was there!

Beautiful, secluded spot right on 1st Roach Pond. Easy, clear access. Place was comfortable and clean and offered many play toys for the water (kayak, canoe, paddle boat, paddle board) and a very nice dock. Great access to other trails and Lily Bay State Park. We were visited by a loon and wild turkey, as well as many neighboring ducks. Lovely and peaceful getaway.

What a great little place to stay! Open floor plan. Cheery and lots of natural light with window blinds if you choose privacy. Apartment neat and clean. Great bang for your buck! Looks very new and remodeled. Would recommend highly!

Me and my family had a great weekend and made memories we will have forever! The place was beautiful 10/10 recommend & we definitely will be back!!

The home went above and beyond my expectations! From the moment you walk in, there’s lots of pieces with funny quotes around the house that give you a good chuckle and make the place more inviting. There were kayaks available, life jackets, and even a wet suit! There were board games and a room with a double monitor taking our gaming experience over the top. A fire pit right by the water making it a the perfect place to lay and look at the stars. The host was very friendly and extremely responsive, I would definitely book again! I stayed for three days with a friend, and we absolutely loved it! The place was peaceful, clean, and full of thoughtful touches. There was so much to do—we went kayaking, hiking, and even made s’mores by the fire. The hosts clearly put a lot of care into what they provide, which made the experience even better. This hidden gem was definitely worth the drive!

This place worked great as a place for family to meet up in Northern Maine. We wish the weather had been a little less rainy so we could have enjoyed the yard and lake more, but we don’t except hosts to control the weather!

Great location, Very Clean! Perfect for a family.

Kevin and Cathy's place is spotlessly clean and in a pristine and serene setting. Great location on the lake with views of sunsets and sunrises. The kitchen and baths appear to be renovated and are in spotless condition with lots of supplies. We really didn't need a thing. There was never a need to reach out because instructions and pre-checkin in communications had already answered everything. We didn't use any of the many kayaks (a bit too chilly) but we did enjoy the firepit. We like the layout, with bedrooms on the top floor and living space downstairs - adults could sleep in while kids were free to have breakfast and play downstairs. I can't think of anything to add or change about this lodging. It was a wonderful visit.

we had stayed here once a couple years ago and had a good experience then as well. very responsive and easy to check in and check out. kitchen is one of the best stocked of any rentals we've stayed at. bathroom could use some updating but if it's just two or four of you there's plenty of room and it's a really great location. everything was clean and their dog friendly which is much appreciated!

We enjoyed exploring Baxter State Park while staying here. The property is clean, cute, has a full kitchen, and everything you could want for a vacation... kayaks, many life vests, a carry cooler, games, puzzles, plenty of area maps, 2 bbq grills, lots of outdoor seating. It’s close to the town of Millinocket which has several grocery stores, restaurants, outdoor gear supplies, etc. The washer and dryer were convenient. Both bedrooms are upstairs. There is a full bathroom on each floor. The living room couch on the main floor can become a single bed. Debbie has created a relaxing space that has everything you could want or need.
