Absolutely loved our stay at Kirkjuholt Guest House 5. Sigrud provided so much helpful information and was very responsive to our inquiries. The location was beautiful and so peaceful. The accommodations had everything we needed and there were additional touches like Nespresso coffee maker and some kitchen necessities that we weren’t expecting! I really appreciated all of the information Sigrud shared including which local stores and restaurants, which was so helpful. We would definitely stay here again!

Modern and cosy cottage

Ása is a great host and we found her cottage to be actually much nicer and more spacious than in the pictures. We had a slight heating issue at first, but Ása was very responsive, fixed it promptly and helped us by instructing us to use the mobile radiators (that were already in the house). Unexpected things happen sometimes, but with Ása you can be sure you'll be in the best hands in case something goes wrong and she'll always have your back! :) Other than that, we found the location rather calm, private and conveniently located. The main road is not as close as some previous reviewers stated, and we found it to be a non-issue. It had more of a vibe of being a guest in someone else's house rather than at a typical Airbnb (and that's great). Very cozy yet elegant and sophisticated interiors, a sunroom, always-on hot tub, comfy beds, tons of kitchen amenities - you'll even find bathrobes! :) A lovely host and a lovely place, we'll definitely want to come back. Thank you :)

Had a fantastic stay at Gunnar's cottage. Everything we needed was at hand in the cottage. It was warm and cozy and and perfect for relaxing in the evening. We used the hot tub a couple of times and it was great. Managed to see the northern lights during our stay and it's a perfect location for seeing them and travelling around the Golden circle. Would definitely stay again.

Nice and very large private property/horse farm, ideally located between the road and the coast, with small beach and cliffs. Beautiful surroundings ! Easy access to the house, great temperature inside when we arrived, very well equipped kitchen, comfy beds, excellent communication with Veronika. During our (too short) stay of 2 nights, we even saw the Northern lights !

Cozy house in a beautiful location. It is private and has a beautiful view of the surroundings. We had a good view on the northern lights because it is bit remote. It has a lot of appliances which makes it very nice for a family and driving distance from a lot of sites on the golden circle. Highly recommended!

We had a great stay at Eyglo's. The views each morning from the front porch were beautiful and we were even gifted a great Northern light show one night. The beds were comfortable and the home was warm even with the cold winds blowing. I definitely recommend this home for a quiet getaway or a trip to the National Park.
