I don't know where to start! Our visit to the Douro Valley couldn't have been better! Casa Souto was everything that we thought it would be. Both Mr. João Souto and Ms. Maria de Fatima were the absolute BEST hosts we've ever had. They went above and beyond in every conceivable way! They truly created a home for us, Thank you so very much, we appreciated our visit more than you'll ever know!! * hugs* from your canadian friends and new family members!! Love to you both! 🧡

Nuestra estancia ha sido perfecta. Teresa y Jorge son unos anfitriones maravillosos, que nos han mimado durante toda nuestra estancia. Están siempre disponibles y buscando satisfacer cualquier deseo o necesidas que pudieramos tener. La casa es realmente peculiar y especial, llena de historia y bonita decoración, antiguedades y detalles exquisitos. Niños y adultos hemos estado tan cómodos con la piscina, el clima, la barbacoa, el mobiliario exterior,... que hemos disfrutado más la casa que las obligadas visitas turísticas de la ciudad e la zona. Recomendable al 100%

Was one of the best places we could get in the north side of Portugal. The pictures do match with reality, it is extremely private, great apple tries for cool pictures, and of course very peaceful. I would recommend 100%.

This is truly a gem of a house. Gorgeous views, beautiful interior design, and the most helpful hosts. We were two families with young kids and we had more than enough room. Cribs and a high chair were available, as well as some toys. I've never experienced such helpful hosts. Marina helped book our boat tour and chef. Due to an error on my part, I realized at 6pm the night before our boat tour and wine tastings that we did not have a driver. She quickly was able to set something up and saved the day! Ana cooked us a delicious dinner, and the breakfasts were perfect too. If you have young kids (or even without kids!), I highly recommend the boat tour followed by a picnic lunch and tasting at Quinta do Popa which is a 5 minute drive away. There was a lot of space for the kids to run around, as well as swings and a toy house to keep the kids entertained while we enjoyed our lunch and wine. Big thanks to our hosts for an amazing trip!

Such an incredible home! Right amongst the vineyards with plenty of space for a large group. We absolutely loved our stay here ☺️

Excelente estadia no Douro neste alojamento, num ambiente calmo e simpático. Antonio o proprietário da casa é bastante disponível e simpático. A casa estava extremamente limpa e é muito bem equipada. Tudo corresponde á descrição do anúncio. Iremos guardar esta morada para uma futura estadia no Douro. Recomendo este alojamento sem hesitação.

Het appartement was ruim, proper, modern, prachtig gelegen met zicht op de Douro en oversteeg onze stoutste verwachtingen (beter dan de foto's). We hadden spijt dat we niet langer konden blijven. Dankzij de duidelijke instructies en foto's van Antonio hadden we het appartement heel snel gevonden. Inchecken via het sleutelkastje verliep ook zeer vlotjes. De 2 badkamers waren geen overbodige luxe. Vlak naast het appartement bevindt er zich een leuk barretje met zeer democratische prijzen. In de zomer moet het geweldig zijn om aan het mooie zwembad te vertoeven. Wij komen zeker terug!

A beautiful location and property in the hills of the Douro. the house and grounds are all kept in great condition. marina was really helpful with organizing food being delivered to the property and local transport as needed. I'd highly recommend visiting during the summer months to fully enjoy the pool and outdoor spaces.

Merci à Fernando! Bonne communication et très sympathique! Mes amis et moi avons aimé la petite maison située dans un petit village perché dans les montagnes du Douro. Nous avions une super belle vue sur les vignes. Expérience dépaysante et agréable!

Nous avons logé quelques jours à 4 adultes, le logement est très sympa avec ses 2 suites, les 2 chambres ont 2 entrées distinctes avec un sas où se trouve chaque salle d'eau et un grand placard. Logement très calme, les seuls bruits entendus sont quelques voitures (normal, logement situé au cœur d'un village) et le joli son de l'église (le logement est juste à côté, l'église émet une petite musique avant de sonner les heures à partir de 6h00 du matin jusqu'à 21h00 ou 22h00). Nous recommandons ce logement sans souci avec un propriétaire très sympathique.

Nuestra estancia en Quinta da Pereira fue lo que necesitábamos! La casa es preciosa y está totalmente equipada, no echamos de menos nada. Los exteriores muy cuidados. Todo invita al descanso. Teresa estuvo siempre pendiente de todo. Su guía de recomendaciones de los alrededores tiene lo necesario para conocer la región. Nos sentimos como en casa. Volveremos seguro

La propriété était magnifique. Nous sommes arrivés en avance et ils se sont empressés de tout nettoyer. On nous a offert la propriété avec le jacuzzi, et il y avait toutes les commodites nécessaires pour notre bébé : chaise haute, jouets, lit… le jacuzzi devant les grandes fenêtres était une expérience inoubliable. Endroit central pour explorer le douro. On a répondu à tous nos besoins, on nous a offert du porto et des fruits locaux. C’est évident que ces gens ont à cœur le bien être de leurs invités, on recommande sans hésitation.

This place was incredible. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was perfect. Such a kind host and farm manager, beautiful and peaceful surroundings, and convenient to all things in the Douro Valley. I would stay at this place again in a second. Definitely worth it!

gracias Bruno, Cristina y familia. gran placer el poder conoceros . una instancia tan agusto que nos acabamos de ir y ya deseando volver. muy bonito todo y el entorno, paisaje, grandes vistas tranquilidad, no tiene precio. aún lloviendo ha estado bien, con buen tiempo no me lo quiero imaginar. en todo momento en que nos sintiéramos muy agusto y siempre que le preguntábamos cosas nos contestaban enseguida. una cena preparada por Cristina y un desayuno por bruno muy muy bueno y competo. una ratito de tarde con el padre de Bruno explicándonos cada detalle del vino , muchos años de profesión y dedicación. nos llevamos aceite y vinos muy muy ricos. ha sido todo un placer conoceros familia 100% recomendable.
