Vacation rentals with a washer and dryer in Argir

A lovely apartment with a great view. Clean and tidy. Central location. Nice welcome . The only small minus was the lack of description of how the dishwasher is started. All in all, we were very happy with the apartment.

Good location to Tórshavn, easy and free parking in the lot connected to the building, has washer and dryer and very clean place.

The apartment is very clean and easy to find. It's located on a hill in Hoyvik and just 8 minutes drive to central Torshavn. A very good pizza place just next to the place. There are 2 bedrooms, spacious and clean. Very well equipped kitchen. It also got roll down blinds so it won't get too bright during the night as the sun doesn't set until 11pm during summer time. The only downside is the shower. While it has got hot water with good water pressure, sometimes it does turn cold for no reason for a few seconds, making it somewhat in consistent. But overall very good place to stay with good value of money given how pricey the hotels are in the Faroe Islands.

Kirsten is the best host ever. The place is homey. Kirsten care of everything. You can feel from the first step inside. I left my medicine that is important to my health and not aware of. Kirsten and her husband knew where I went and waited to catch me to bring my medicine to me.

Maud and Oddmar were wonderful hosts-- they were there to greet us when we were arrived and were helpful and available when we had questions. The place was perfect for our short stay in the Faroes: very near the airport, restaurants, a gas station, grocery store and the bank, yet felt isolated enough that there was no hustle and bustle. We loved that we were just a 30 minutes walk from the Witch's Finger, and also not a far drive from either Torshavn or the drive to see the Drangarnir Sea Arch. All and all we had a lovely stay that was enhanced by Maud's place.

The space is beautiful. It looks over the bay in Torshavn and was easily walkable into town (we are both fit but it’s also on a bus line If walking isn’t an option). There was also ample room for parking. If you are driving, make sure to follow the detailed instructions they provided as to where to park. We got a little tied up looking for the house but that was our fault for not reading far enough down the instructions.

It was the best location for a traveler on foot - the bus stop, ferry port are within 5 minutes' walk, and cafes, restaurants, churches, squares in Klaksvik village are all near the accommodation. The further away from the center of the village, the more uphill it is, but this property is located in the center of the village, so there is no uphill road. I was worried that the sound of the cars would be loud, but it was soundproofed and there weren't a lot of cars, so there was no problem. It's surprisingly warm for being heated by a radiator. The bathroom is warm and the hot water comes out well. Normally, it takes a while for the hot water to come out when you turn on the hot water, but I don't know why the hot water comes out right away when you turn it on. I don't know. I've never felt cold in this house. The accommodation was really tidy, and the kitchen was equipped with all kinds of tableware and cooking utensils. Personally, it was comfortable because there were a lot of outlets here and there.

Apartment was clean and comfortable and in a great location at the end of residential neighborhood but no more than 10 minutes walk to the center of town. Having our own parking spot was especially useful. Joan was responsive and helpful whenever we had questions. We would gladly recommend this apartment to anyone interested in staying in Torshavn.

A wonderful place to spend your vacation in the Faroe Islands. We stayed in the cottage for 7 days, everything was as described, big plus for the washer and dryer. In addition, the location is perfect for exploring other islands, close to everything. We recommend and hope to be back in the future :)

Super nice and clean

100% recommended. Home was absolutely beautiful. Clean, well-stocked kitchen, matched description well. We loved our stay here and would definitely choose to stay here again. Host was incredibly proactive with sending out info and recommendations before our arrival, and there was a helpful info book at the house (love those!). Can't say if they were responsive to questions or not, because we didn't need to ask any! (I'm sure they would've been.)

The place was just as described, we felt right at home. We had everything we needed and more, from kitchen utensils to an outstanding record collection. There’s shops only a short distance away and easy access to other towns as well. The house was very suitable for a family with children with many games and toys around. The view speaks for itself. A true place to just relax and wind down. The most outstanding feature though was Eyðfríð herself. Sadly we didn’t meet her but her communication and helpfulness is unparalleled in our experience. She helped us out in a pinch when we had some travel issues and gave us many recommendations on the way.

Torgard and Harry were great hosts. The house has everything you need for a lovely stay in Torshavn. Walkable to a nice market and to several restaurants. The downtown shopping area is walkable as well. Harry was very helpful with recommendations. The kitchen has everything to cook a gourmet meal. It was very nice to have a wash and dryer to catch up on our laundry. Thank you for a lovely stay!! Highly Recommend!!

A large and rich house with excellent views and excellent location in relation to bus, ferry and within walking distance to the center of Torshavn.

Excellent stay, the house was very cozy and tidy, we found everything very clean. It was very close to the center. We were going with a baby and Helgi helped us at all times by lending us a crib and high chair.

Perfect accommodation for a stay in the area, I recommend it! Thank you again for the fruit and cereal bar provided :) You have to anticipate the duration of the shower.

Great apartment and great location! Definitely recommend!

We loved staying at Benita’s place. Benita left us snacks and drinks upon arrival and was super responsive to any questions. The ocean view out the window was terrific, and the place was great to come back to after long days of walking, hiking, driving around the islands, etc. And it’s just a quick 5 minute drive into Torshavn, or a 20 minute walk. Everything was just as advertised!

Beautiful flat. Within walking distance of both the airport and the ferry port to Mykines. Very handy for our first two nights, allowing for the ferry to that island to see the amazing birdlife. The view from the terrace is absolutely amazingly beautiful. We had great weather and it seemed such a privilege to drink beer overlooking a fantastic sunset (which is very late in this part of the world). There was no booking immediately after ours and Arnjohn kindly contacted us to allow a later checkout. Great flat and host and heartily recommend

We really enjoyed our stay! 😊 the house is outstanding, everything was perfect and the view from the balcony is awesome!!

We only stayed here one night, but the place was lovely with a view of the water, which was great! It was spacious and the bed was comfortable! It was easy walking distance to shops and restaurants and would definitely stay again if we find ourselves traveling here again!

Osvald has been a very welcoming host, always available and kind. His flat was warm, clean, comfortable and easy to find, made us feel as at home. Washing and Drier machines availability has really been the most valuable facility of our stay
