Quiet place in a very small village, with intimacy and a lot of nature to enjoy, the jacuzzi from outside we take advantage even in bad weather without any problem, there is room at the door of the house to park 2 or 3 cars without problem.

This house was spacious and in a beautiful location, about 20 minutes from Ponte de Lima. It was a great place to stay, central to visiting the beach, the national park or the city. There were many things for our children to do at the house with the game tables, pool, hot tub, suana and padel court. The property is full of possibility and very beautiful. Jose and family checked us in and were kind and gracious and helpful with any questions that we had.

Great accommodation and great host, we felt right at home. Fernando and his wife are great people. We enjoyed our stay and the house was super comfortable. We hope to come back very soon.

We had a fantastic day in Esmeralda's house! It is a beautiful and well connected village: one hour from Vigo e moi perto de Paredes de Coura, Ponte de Lima ou Arcos de Valdevez. In the house, with traditional architecture, it is well restored moi. It's nice and comfortable, well decorated, with a good bathroom and all kinds of garments and utensils for cooking. Or pillow mattress and as pillows are comfortable and with bed roupa and towels are prefectas. Or Cardin and beautiful and has sun loungers, tables and cadeiras to enjoy outdoor tamén do. Esmeralda foi friendly and polite. We'll turn around for sure!

beautiful house and surroundings! peacefull and surrounded by nature. Rui and Nuno are gents! lots to do close by, waterfalls and natural pools to swim in. As a family of 4 we had a wonderful stay!

Ideal place to relax and contemplate nature.

The place is very nice and the house in general is good. Need some arrangement and paint some of the walls. Being the bathroom next to the living room and having the sliding door, it does not fit well, so the smells in the drain come to the living room. Very uncomfortable if someone has to use the sofa bed to sleep there. The people who took care of us were very kind. We appreciate the welcome cake.

The house is located at the end of the main street of Sistelo,just before arriving at the church...as a tip, it is better not to take the car to the door and leave it at the entrance of the village (it is only 100 meters ) we took it to the door,and it was very difficult for us to maneuver to get out,as it is a pedestrian and very narrow street... The house is amazing,the entrance door takes you to the living-dining room,which is just as you can see in the photos,and then there is the kitchen, which has everything, be careful with the access door to the kitchen because it is somewhat low... On the ground floor, there are the two bathrooms,(one with a shower,and the other with a bathtub), the two bedrooms, which are separated by a simple curtain ( ideal for watching over the children ) where the double bed is very comfortable, and there is also the terrace of the house,with a spectacular view and where you can make a churrasquito on the barbecue... We were two adults and two girls, 4 and 1 years old... so we had to be very attentive to the little one when we were in the living room,since all the time I wanted to go down the stairs, which were dangerous for her... And the village of Sistelo is very small but has a lot of tourism due to the number of hiking trails that are very close...there is a small store with the basics,and 3 restaurants that are very good...a perfect place if you want tranquility,since it is quite far from everything... All in all,we have spent three magnificent days in a very quiet village and in a beautiful house...the ideal place to disconnect!!! The host...spectacular... worrying at all times because we were fine and he let us leave later on the day of our departure,without any problems...

We had a very pleasant stay! The house is welcoming, well-equipped with all the necessary essentials, and we always felt special care in service and communication – they were extremely attentive and helpful. The location is great, surrounded by stunning nature and with easy access to Gerês. An extra point that made all the difference was the possibility of charging for electric cars – super practical! I highly recommend and undoubtedly we will return! 🌿✨

What an amazing gem of a restored stone house right on the banks of the river! It way exceeded my expectations. The location is supreme and is just practically on top of the secret waterfall and swimming hole which I had to myself. I'd love to come back during the rainy season and see it then too. Truly magical. Highly recommended.

I think the space is ideal for resting my head and spirit, in the middle of the stunning nature and with the wonderful friendliness of the Minho people (from scratch or “ạ ”like dear Ruth with whom I went to pick oranges for breakfast:) It is the ideal place to breathe in serenity.

Quinta do Olival was a pleasant surprise, with all the necessary amenities in a rustic and elegant environment, we spent an excellent weekend. Very comfortable and cozy, with a lovely pool, we were very impressed. To culminate Olga was always very attentive and friendly. Congratulations on your project :)
