Boat Experience, Marina Puerto Bahía Samana.

Alex & KatyaRating, 5 stars2 months ago
Roberto's sailboat was comfy and since his large vessel was moored in peaceful Bahia Marina, the minimal waves rocked me gently to sleep. Nice! Bring your own ice, if you want to bring anything cold aboard. The cabin and cockpit are very comfy. Sipping a fine Brugal Leyenda rhum after an hour and a half or so drive to the Marina where "Roberto" greeted me was a wonderful way to end the day and my 10 days in wonderful DR (4 days in Cabarete, 4 days in Las Terrenas and just 2 in Samana)! Roberto was very responsive and was okay greeting me around 8:30 PM or so (within his 6 to 10 pm arrival window). It would have been great to sail in the light WSW winds of 18km/h or so the next day, but scheduled repairs and maintenance took precedence, over my fairly last-minute booking. Still, Roberto, was kind enough to facilitate a snorkeling excursion into Samana Bay (for a fee) with one of his contacts. All in all, I had a wonderful time! Thank you, "Roberto"!
The yacht is docked at the marina, showcasing its sleek blue hull and spacious deck area. Several life rings and fenders are visible, providing safety features. The boat is partially covered with a canopy, and neighboring vessels can be seen in the background under a subtle sunset sky.

Serenity Boatel 1 in the center of San Juan

Sol was a wonderful host, and the boat was amazing! We enjoyed dinner outside and our view of the ocean, docks and city lights, definitely magical. Accomodations were fantastic and we woke feeling refreshed, the 12:00 checkout gave us plenty of time to enjoy our morning on the boat, and the views in daytime. Great hot shower and AC, we will definitely be back!

Serenity Boatel 2 in the center of San Juan

Sol is very friendly and staying on his boat is a great experience. We enjoyed walks through the marina, and there is a seafood restaurant right there too. Best experience for us was hanging out on the deck. We spent couple of hours there just talking and working (remote on a computer) while enjoying the surroundings and sounds of the water. If you go, it’s worth to book the bigger cabin.

We had the best few days in the Keys. We wanted to stay in Marathon to be centrally located to the Keys to the south and north. The boat was beautiful and clean with the most wonderful outdoor seating area to enjoy. The sunsets were spectacular and Charles and Annette were an absolute treasure and gracious hosts. They are charming conversationalists with incredible stories and wit, they showed us what a life well lived looks like. We enjoyed our time immensely and would love to stay again if we had the opportunity. We hope to see Charles and Annette in the future.

St. John 60' Sailboat Strboard 2 Bed Private Cabin

NatashaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Truly an awesome experience. Sequoia was a great host. He was accommodating, responded quickly and provided breakfast in the morning. I was able to snorkel with my own gear but he also provides his own gear and vest if needed. This stay is amazing but not for everyone. If you get sea sick, definitely bring medicine. You do feel the boat rock but it was pleasant for me. It can get a bit hot in the cabin. If you are not used to not having AC, definitely reconsider staying here. The fan helps but just a warning!

St. John 60' Sailboat Queen Bed Master Stateroom

MarkRating, 5 stars25 months ago
We had a great two nights aboard Tandmeer. We slept in the aft master stateroom with the queen. Very comfortable. Capt Sequoia and crew, Gary, were very accommodating. Coffee and light breakfast each morning was provided. The boat was moored in Chocolate Hole, a ten minute dinghy ride from Cruz Bay. We enjoyed excellent snorkeling right under the boat. It is no problem at all getting back and forth to town as Sequoia picked us up and dropped us off according to our schedule and was flexible when we texted for pickup at any time. Time on the boat for reading and just chilling out was super relaxing. Thank you for providing this experience on St John!
The interior of the sailboat features a cozy layout with navy upholstered seating arranged around a central table. Natural light enters through windows, illuminating the wooden finishes and providing a warm atmosphere. Storage space is included with cabinetry and shelves.

Bonito: Charming Sailboat Haven

KelcieRating, 5 stars74 months ago
Aqui amanacemos bonito was an awesome location. If you have a gig at the conference center this is an awesome place to stay. Its only a 10min walk to the convention center. The pros is that you get to wake up on a beautiful estuary, and can go snorkeling and see the seagrass, lobsters, fish and manatees that live there. Its a bit of glamping where the shower and restrooms are on the dock and maybe 70ft away from the boat. Osar always answers his phone but if you ever get stuck just find La guardia. Uber is cheap and easy to get around. Great place to visit!

Our stay in Jupiter was great. Location on the water gave us opportunity to fish off the rental and soak up some sun. Walking distance to waterfront restaurants and close to the beach/inlet. Our fishing charter even picked us up at the houseboat. Overall, we had a great experience.

Art and his son Ethan were great to work with. We weren’t clear on the parking but once we figured it out it was “Smooth Sailing” from there. Staying in his boat was so peaceful, just what we needed. Definitely would recommend staying here.

"Comfort Zone" Private Yacht-Charter

DaveRating, 5 stars1 month ago
As someone who is considering living on a boat in retirement, it was very nice to have the opportunity to spend time on "Comfort Zone". There are not many reasonable opportunities to do so, and this was a very nice option. The entire marina and resort area are very quiet and seem to have a community feel with the number of live aboard boat owners. The marina based manatee/sunset cruise was very nice, educational, and breathtaking.

Dan’s 2024 catamaran cruiser vessel

JamesRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We absolutely loved staying on Ron's houseboat! It was spotless, and it had everything we needed for our week long stay. The rooftop deck was the perfect spot for morning coffee and evening drinks! We saw dolphins, manatees, tarpon, and eagle rays right from the boat. Great location close to Sombrero Beach, and right across the street from the golf course. Dockside restaurant/bar is also located right at Sombrero Marina, which is a great option for food, drinks, and live music. Ron is an amazing host! He always responded immediately if we had any questions, and wanted to be sure that we had everything we needed.
A comfortable seating area is highlighted by soft cushions in various shades of blue and neutral tones. A nautical-themed rug adorns the wooden floor, while large windows provide natural light and a view of the marina outside.

Relaxing view, peaceful surroundings. Only excitement was coast guard doing a check, it was most excitement we had which is a huge plus! Open windows at night, best part of the boat are the cushioned seats at the front to enjoy the cool breeze. Kelly is super awesome as a host, couldn’t ask for better!

We spent a dream week around Guadeloupe thanks to Pauline and Laurent who were able to meet our expectations. Pauline concocted good little dishes with local products, Laurent introduced us to sumptuous places with their beautiful sailboat. Laurent is a very good skipper, knowing the surrounding islands perfectly, always attentive, very friendly, pleasant, caring… The week of discovery was much too short given the beauty of the landscapes. We'll be back to continue this beautiful journey. Thanks again you two!
