Cottage in a bucolic location in Ankadikely

Hanitra welcomed my son and me in a way that made us feel at home. We were sick and she took care of us (she is a midwife and her brother is a doctor, which was reassuring and very helpful to us!). Hanitra did everything possible to help us, already on arrival at the airport, by picking us up there, she waited 3 hours (delay due to the company). Meals on site on request, hearty, fresh and good value for money. Full of good advice and accommodating also for the payment (end of the trip, we no longer had enough ariary, conversion into euros which facilitated our stay). Communication was easy and wifi as well as Canal+ available. Linens in quantity, hygiene products too, cleanliness, safety and comfort. The swimming pool is accessible at any time directly from the terrace of the house. The cottage is functional and pretty, the garden is superb. I'll be back on my next trip to Antananarivo! I highly recommend it! Thank you!
The modern villa features a striking two-tone exterior with a prominent blue section. Large windows allow natural light to flood the interior. A well-maintained garden area with potted plants enhances the inviting entrance, complemented by a stone pathway leading to the entrance.

VILLA DE STANDING "NY AINA"

Accommodation compliant and even nicer than in the photos with a very convenient roadside location. All rooms are spacious and well-lit. Good communication with the owner and good communication with the caretaker. A small wifi and cable problem during the stay but without much impact on the pleasure of staying in this lovely house. The Room is really big with nice location near the bus station. If you travel to other cities from the capital this is a really nice place for stay. And restaurant just downstairs.
A hammock is suspended between two trees, surrounded by lush greenery and tropical plants. Stone steps lead up to a charming red house partially visible in the background, with a tranquil atmosphere conveyed by the natural setting.

A view through classic windows reveals a landscape of lush rice fields and hillside houses. The bustling market area is visible in the distance, with clear skies overhead. The window's grid frames the vibrant scenery, creating a sense of openness and light.

Mme Faras home is a GEM! A rare find! A beatiful and well kept house, pool and garden. We loved it there! We stayed for four weeks with our two children (2and 6 yo) and happily ate the malagazy dinners Fara made every day. She's a great cook! Mme Fara also gave us very useful medical advice (she's a doctor). The pictures in the listing are accurate, the house is light and beatiful, and very well climatized. By Malagacy standards this must be an extremely high standard house, it almost felt like living in a house in the south of France. Few mosquitos and also the pool is lovely and clean. The only downside, I have to say, is that one can feel a bit isolated this far outside Antananarivo. It took us approximately two hours drive to the center of Tana in rush hour, and this was unpractical. (Remember never to trust google maps estimation of distanse and time in the malagacy rush hour traffic!) The driver available is super nice and drives very safe, but the car doesn't have seatbelts and is an old Toyota, so don't expect a fancy ride. So: If your plan is to mostly stay put in a lovely house with a great host, and not go driving into town very often, Mme Faras house is highly recommended!

Fara's place is beautiful and she is very kind and thoughtful. We loved the setting on the hill with the garden and the use of the amazing pool. Fara's hospitality is amazing. She went the extra mile for us -- arranging airport transportation, cooking meals, and doing laundry. Roaming power outage was brief and Fara came quickly with candles and flashlights. Fara is attentive to potential needs but also gave us the space we needed to rest. Definitely recommend and wish we could have stayed here longer.
