Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Annapolis Valley

Catherine's place was just what we were looking for, great for our group of 9, walking distance to restaurants, private and lots of bedrooms. We would not hesitate booking it again. And she was responsive, friendly and helpful.

The barn and property were very private. The long driveway and forested area between us and the neighbors provided a lovely yard for our dogs to run in, plus there was nice view. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the host quickly responsded to a question I had. The cushioned glider chairs on the back deck are sooo comfortable, when we were there, we spent most of our time lounging in the chairs. Best of all, there are three beaches within a 10 minutes drive, including gaff point trail on Hirtle’s beach. The Ovens Park with natural sea caves and self-lead tour is 10 minutes away. The Rose Bay General, Bistro and Liquor store is less than 5 minutes away, and the Lahave Bakery is about 20 minutes away if you take the Lahave ferry, which is one of Nova Scotia’s few cable ferries throughout the province. The hot tub was nice for relaxing after adventuring in the areas close by!

Another great stay. The kitchen has all the amenities you would need. The place is clean and welcoming with comfortable beds, lovely big bathrooms. But the best part of the stay are the evenings out on the deck watching the ever changing views across the Minas basin over to Cape Blomidon where the setting sun provides spectacular sunsets every evening and if you’re lucky you’ll catch sight of the bald eagles that live nearby

Very cozy place! It was right by the water with a beautiful view. Very convenient as well. We were about a 30 minutes drive from Downtown Halifax. Ashley was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful place and amazing host! I'd stay there again. :)

Our group was extremely happy to find this gem for accommodations for the Wharf Rat Rally! We had 3 1/2 couples in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us and our gear. It is located realtively close to Digby and the ride to and from was absolutely wonderful! We were happy to find plenty of rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, 2 spacious bathrooms and a diningroom large enough to fit us all. The property and views were beautiful as well. It was a great place to relax after a long day of riding. Last but not least, our hosts were amazing! They made sure our stay was the best! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

This house is very quiet and clean, making it an ideal choice for a large family or two small families to stay. There are many restaurants around and a large supermarket nearby. Leslie is a very nice host. He sent us a message in advance telling us the location and how to check in. We didn't realize that our son's swimming goggles were left behind in the house until the day after we left. I contacted Leslie. He responded very promptly. Twenty minutes later he told us that the goggles had been found and placed in the front of the restaurant cashier's area, so we could pick them up when it was convenient for us. We will come back again!

Great place came as advertised. The host were very attentive and immediately responded to A request. A group of 5 men on golfing weekend was a great place to come back to and relax. Will book again. Mike May 2025

Location is everything! This property is located in a peaceful and picturesque setting, a mere steps from the famous lighthouse. House was spacious and comfortable, we enjoyed our stay.

Shobac farm is a unique architectural and farm experience. It was great to have gaffs point and Hirtle’s beach within hiking distance. The sheep were a constant fascination for our pup. Appreciated having access to a lap pool, steam shower and sauna. Thoroughly enjoyed having a wood fire and enjoying and vast country side views from the gatehouse.

PAM & J.P were extraordinary. We were delighted with our stay and fell in love with Nova Scotia. The animals were an unexpected extra. Gustave is going to miss Maple a lot. Small comment WHICH IS NOT A CRITICISM. The refrigerator is not very big, so don't do too much grocery shopping at once. We arrived with too many things and not everything fit. But again, that's okay. There's a grocery store not far away. It's very easy. Just don't plan too far ahead if you have a big family like mine. The pool is amazing!!!!! Close to lots of beautiful beaches. We had a great time with the family!!!

Lovely little inn in Grand Pre. Easy to find, easy check in. Room had nice up to date furnishings. The restaurant Longfellow was excellent. Food and service outstanding. 1 minute away is lovely winery where we did tasting and following day we rode bike trail to Wolfville for lunch. Loved the area and our accommodations

we absolutely loved our stay in the cottages! We were able to use a lot of their amenities, Kayaks, boat, pool.. it was so much fun and we made some great memories as a family! Thank you to Katelyn for the great cottage and customer service, we hope to come back again :)

David’s property overlooking Shad Bay is a gem with a wonderful view! The kitchen was well stocked, and he even provided a dozen eggs, juice and bread should one desire a hearty breakfast to cook on a two burner induction hot plate. The kitchen, while large, is not designed to cook full dinners. The bed was very comfortable. David’s decorating style is eclectic with a good dose of contemporary mixed in with traditional furnishings and the art taking center stage. David greeted us upon arrival and we spoke with him every morning. We had delightful conversation. A highlight for us was interacting with Molly and Peaches, a small poodle and a large doodle. We would highly recommend David’s accommodation!

My Husband and I had a very relaxing mini-moon at Barclay and Jennifer’s trailer after a hectic week of wedding events. Barclay and Jennifer were on site and responded to any issues or questions we had. They came over when we arrived to make sure we got into the trailer and explained how things worked. The trailer was very comfortable with heat (which was needed during the crisp fall nights) The view was spectacular, watching the sun rise from the deck with a cup of coffee. Barclay had lots of wood for us to have a campfire and even took wood down to the beach fire pit for us. The whole trip was very relaxing and the perfect “glamping” experience. We will be back for sure!

We got in very late from a from a big day of road trip adventures and were so happy to find that the bed was huge and comfy, the RV was very spacious, and the heating was strong and had everything cozy in no time. Timothy had told us to turn on the water heater when we arrived so showers were super nice and hot in the morning too. Timothy was very good with check-in instructions and directions to the place, and he even spontaneously upgraded us to the larger RV. We were only there one night so didn't explore the area much, but it was a perfect place to stay to spend a morning in Bear River.

Another Great Stay at The Land Yacht! This was our second time staying at The Land Yacht, and it was just as wonderful as we remembered. They have everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable getaway. The indoor pool was amazing, and the views of the ocean are absolutely breathtaking. One of our favorite moments was reading a book in the solarium while listening to the rain—pure bliss. The peaceful atmosphere, thoughtful amenities, and beautiful setting make this a truly special place. We can’t wait to return again!

This is a beautiful home with a stunning view. The home is welcoming, clean and absolutely charming. We stayed for a girls weekend and had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend this spot!

We were looking for a quiet place near Annapolis Royal yet out-of-town, and we found it. The trips to surrounding towns, restaurants, and tourist sites were easy and there was little traffic. Although not all the rooms in the cabin have been fully renovated yet, Patrick thoughtfully provided comfortable furnishings, and there were many 'homey' touches that we appreciated, like adequate lighting in each room, good quality linens and towels, and flowers on the table. We enjoyed the well-supplied kitchen, great shower, and deck for relaxing, outdoor breakfasts, and views of Milbury Lake from the private beach. Patrick was a responsive host and made sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed.

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

Me and my GF stayed here for 2 nights and from the moment we arrived we felt we made the right choice booking this beautifully located cabin by the lake. Everything was as described. Tina was an exceptional host who made us feel welcomed. This little slice of paradise was secluded enough to offer peace and quiet yet close enough to wolfville and surrounding areas to go out and enjoy some nice food at the local restaurants. Id highly recommend this spot if youre looking for a nice relaxing weekend by the lake to kick back and unwind.

Our stay at Mallard at Church Lake was fantastic! The A-frame design is stunning with beautiful decor throughout. The kitchen setup was perfect, and we loved using the outdoor grill for lakeside meals. As birding enthusiasts, we added many new species to our Life List and learned fascinating details about mallard duck behavior and life cycles. The location is a nature lover's dream. What really set this property apart were the excellent accessibility features (wheelchair ramp, no-threshold shower, seamless floor transitions, etc., which accommodated our disabilities. The hosts were communicative before and during our stay, making everything seamless. We enjoyed canoeing and paddleboarding during the day and incredible stargazing at night under clear skies. This property offers the perfect blend of comfort, accessibility, and natural beauty. We'd absolutely stay again and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially those needing accessible accommodations!

Beautiful location, great beach for rock collecting with low tide. Socal table restaurant was very close and delicious. Not far from Lobster Pound which we enjoyed. Cottage is rustic, initially not sure about the outdoor shower as the weather was cool but it was worth the experience. We kept the wood stove going as it was cool the first night. Not your typical Airbnb stay, but worth it!

Absolutely gorgeous property! The pictures don’t do it enough justice. Hosts have thought of everything, so much attention to detail. It was a true luxury experience. Favourite airbnb to date. We were all sad to leave. Thanks for providing such a wonderful place and memory!

Perfect little spot for a night away! The cottage was beautiful, very well kept and cozy. The private location with stunning views only added to our wonderfully peaceful getaway. We would absolutely recommend :)
