Round Rock

The green hills of St. Martin rise out of the blue depths of the sea in front of this boho-contemporary house on the shores of Anguilla. It was just refreshed, with a few nautical accents and new kitchen cabinets the color of the ocean, but its setting is timeless, with the waves crashing just beyond the outdoor living areas. A 5-minute drive and you’re on soft, sandy, bar-lined Rendezvous Beach. Start holiday mornings with a coffee from the Nespresso machine, sipped at the shaded sitting area on the verandah, or fresh fruit at the covered alfresco table. Soak in the Caribbean sun from a lounger by the pool and hot tub, then shift to a cooler spot in the shade of the outdoor wet bar. Linger outside under the stars or move indoors to a spot by the cable TV, Sonos sound system, and Wi-Fi. Clean-lined and low, the architecture of this vacation rental is a study in pared-down contemporary style.
