Walden Pond Retreat - Pond-side Cottage w/ Hot Tub

Our cozy cottage sits in the woods on our 9‑acre property, overlooking a small pond and offering a peaceful escape from busy city life. As you drive past our home to the cottage, you arrive at a tucked‑away spot where the cottage and hot tub pavilion are screened by trees and bamboo, creating a private, secluded feel. This is a place to slow down, enjoy quiet mornings by the water, and end the day under the stars, while leaving feeling recharged from your stay at our little piece of paradise.

Modern Cabin with Balcony Private Country Setting

Modern meets rustic in our cozy three-bedroom, two-bathroom cabin. This home was a family project completed in 2025. Custom details include ship-lap ceilings downstairs, cedar-lined bathrooms and closet, and interior trim of rough-cut pine, all milled and installed by our family. Rebar spindles add a modern twist to the stairway. The cabin is in a private, wooded clearing away from the road but less than ten minute drive to Tylertown. Come experience the tranquility in this secluded spot!

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. Just 35 miles North of New Orleans nestled just minutes away from downtown Covington and all the Northshore has to offer. Live music, fine dining, cycling and shopping are just a few of the many things to do. Your stay includes two paddle boards so if water exploring and sun bathing on the scenic Bogue Falaya sounds up your alley then look no further.
