MichaelaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
We had a great late October stay for our honeymoon. The cabin was definitely warm enough for the 30 degree temperatures. Hot tub was amazing, that was clean as well. The outdoor kitchen was very convenient, even when it rains the kitchen is still covered. We had an amazing stay, will be visiting again!

We had an amazing time, it’s very intimate. There are neighbors but everyone was friendly. Kitchen is outside, it was cool prepping outside. The hot tub was probably our favorite part, especially with the colder weather coming in. The lake is gorgeous and peaceful. We’ll be back

OliviaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We had a wonderful time at Misty’s cottage! The property was so peaceful and private - you’ll have a great time even when visiting during the off-season. The cottage itself was homey, clean, and decorated so nicely. Misty was also proactive in making sure we made it inside okay upon our arrival - she is a welcoming and attentive host. We would definitely stay here again!

So you know the Host at this cabin is very attentive and really keeps a close eye on the safety of your stay at this cabin on the Mtn, almost a mile into the woods. Trudy wants you to have a successful new experience roughing it, and roughing it is not always easy… so only plan to stay there for this kind of adventure you already like to experience or thing you would like to have. We go because we know what to expect! Bon Voyage! This cabin in the woods is a cool place to go to and allows you some space to breathe fresh air away from the busyness of your daily world. 3 Level Cabin Right On The Water! Dog Friendly!

RebeccaRating, 5 stars9 months ago
Place was very cozy. It accommodated our family of 8 and the dog. Slept comfortably and made meals (and cookies) easily. My grandchildren walked to the bridge where there was good fishing. The lake was clean, easy to kayak. Very much enjoyed the firepit and outdoor furniture. Very clean. Well supplied. Washer and dryer were very much appreciated. Good Wifi.

Panther Pond Getaway

KateRating, 5 stars10 months ago
It's hard to know where to begin with our glowing review of our stay at Panther Pond. Thank you Nancy and Jim for being such wonderful hosts and for sharing your beautiful oasis with us. Everything about our stay was perfect, start to finish from the peaceful setting, the cozy home full of all the comforts you would need, and the perfect waterside set up for cooling off and relaxing during the summer heat. We loved waking to the sounds of the loons, paddling and kayaking across the Pond, swimming to the rock, workouts and games in the yard, cookouts and meals shared on the porch, smores by the fire, curling up with books, and the highlight - a warm outdoor shower to wrap up the day! We came home rested and recharged. Can't wait to book for next summer. Nancy and Jim were so wonderful to rent from - extremely proactive and open with communication, making us feel so welcome and at home. Panther Pond holds special meaning to our family and we were so happy to be back there once again.

Private family Cabin, Clean, w/Great Swimming area

NancyRating, 5 stars20 months ago
We immediately felt very comfortable. The cabin reminded me of the lake house I spent my summers growing up at. Upon entering, there was a musty smell; once we opened the doors and windows, it pretty much cleared right up. We spent much time on the screened in porch, or back deck, sipping coffee, reading, playing games, napping, sipping wine, etc . The "beach" area was almost non-existent, but Troy & Heather explained that it was because of the vast amounts of rain we've had in 2023. The immediate swimming area is satisfactory; mostly sandy bottom. Anywhere outside of the swim area there was lots & lots of mil-foil weed (small amounts in the swim area itself). Mostly evident when we were kayaking or fishing, sometimes getting our paddles/oars tangled in the weeks. Overall, this was a great place to stay; Troy & Heather were incredibly responsive to our minor questions. We had trouble entering through the front door with the code provided. The side door worked perfectly!

This camp is Maine lake life at its best! We loved the screened in porch and our kids had a blast jumping off the dock. We had some hot days but the cabin stayed cool thanks to afternoon shade. This part of Echo Lake is quiet and serene. It was nice to have well water and a full kitchen. We will be back for sure!

Baljunor Lakehouse. Refresh your soul.

HannahRating, 5 stars7 months ago
My husband and I stayed here for a week and we could not have been happier with our trip. We spent the majority of our time in Maine at Baljunor, enjoying the house and the grounds. On the cooler September days, we snuggled into sweaters and read on one of the numerous docks or napped in the hammock under a blanket, talked on the balcony, chased the sun in the canoe or napped by the fire. On warmer days, we swam in the pristine and tepid waters of Echo Lake and just spent all of our time on the lake and the grounds. We watched a huge bald eagle drying itself off at the top of a tree for hours and said hello to a mink who stopped to check us out as it scoured the perimeter of the lake in search of food! The house was fully stocked with all the linens and kitchen supplied that you could need. There was soap and detergent provided, flashlights and even water shoes. They really provided everything. Gwenn was extremely kind and communicative during our stay. Thank so you much to the family!

Cabin on the Lake

MaryRating, 5 stars8 months ago
My family and I stayed for 5 nights and had an amazing time. What impressed me the most was the quality of the little things. The toilet paper, dish soap, cutlery, plates, towels etc were all in excellent condition. The host did not cut corners where others might of, and as the guest that made me feel respected. The location can’t be beat. It is on a picturesque lake with warm water perfect for water activities (dock can fit a boat which we rented). Colin was communicative and friendly. My father had a fall and was a last minute add on to our trip for 2 days. Colin went out of his way to send extra pictures to give me a better idea of the layout. All in all it was a wonderful family vacation, hugely due to the cabin, location, and communication with Colin who alleviated any questions I had.
