Heery moved from Hwangnidan-gil to a slightly more spacious and comfortable space near the Namsan Botanical Garden in Gyeongju. Breakfast prepared in Western or Korean style is included We provide most of the amenities, including clean bedding, air conditioning, private bathroom, shower amenities, and a hairdryer. (The accommodation fee includes breakfast.) The rate is based on 2 people per room, and an additional fee (60,000 KRW per person) will be incurred for additional guests. (Bedding for the heated floor room is provided instead of beds) * Reservations for commercial photography are not allowed. El Hanok Stay

El Hanok Stay was newly built as a private hanok guesthouse, which was opened in April 2023 after a year of remodeling construction by purchasing a 1975 house in May 2022. We tried to add more modern convenience while adding the style of hanok, and tried to add color by adding European style. It is located in the center of Hwangnidan-gil, and it is located near Hwangnidan-gil restaurants (next to Cheongonchae) and cafes (Olive), right next to the location where you can go to Gyeongju tourist attractions such as Daereungwon (Cheonmachong), Cheomseongdae, Donggung, and Wolji. Jacuzzi in Hanok is available for a fee. It is 30,000 KRW in Korean money when using for a fee.

It is a modern hanok with three bedrooms, one kitchen and dining room, and two toilets and bathtubs. In the spacious yard, we have prepared the atmosphere that can only be found in a hanok. All bedding is always freshly replaced, and as it was my grandfather’s home, it’s lovingly maintained and kept clean. Unlike a typical Hanok village, this home is in a local Gyeongju neighborhood. Stay in a real Hanok and experience the authentic charm of Gyeongju! It will surely be a special experience. I can confidently say it will be special.
