Such a special place- many thanks to Fatima and Abdullah for your incredible kindness ! We felt so cared for, the home is beautiful and they are such sweet helpful hosts. Felt very authentic plus the location was quiet yet right in the old town. Highly recommend !

This a true guesthouse experience - you are literally staying at host Umid's family home! Humid and his wife still live there, and are welcoming hosts always available for questions or just a chat. Breakfast is included and is freshly-made and plentiful. Umid has converted the rooms to give a heritage feel while updating the comforts of modern life (bathroom, a/c). He put a lot of thought into what makes a room comfortable, including places to store your items, seating, and a mini fridge and hot water kettle with tea fixings in each room. The location is right in the old part of Bukhara, about 1.5 blocks from the nearest sights and no more than 1 mile from the farthest sites, all very walkable. I recommend Jam Restaurant (5 mins walk) and Uzb.alcomarket (20 mins walk).

We loved our stay at the Radio Hostel! Sherzod was a wonderful host, we loved the music playing from the record over breakfast which was always filling and delicious. The room was very comfortable and the decoration was full of character and fun. We’d definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Samarkand.
