Hotel vacation rentals in Amhara

It was great to stay here, staff were friendly and extremely helpful. I enjoyed every bit of it and next time I’m in Addis I’ll be staying here for sure. It was also great to meet Emmad and his brother who were also really nice !

My questions prior to booking and before check in were promptly addressed by Meron she was proactive and also offered a free shuttle service from the airport. After check in, every staff member I interacted with was professional and proactive, which made my stay completely hassle-free. The food was excellent as well, i am going to miss the Tibs Firfer. I would definitely return. Thank you !

Emmad has an awesome team. They are kind, generous, organized, and very thoughtful. The facility is very clean and comfortable. Everything you would think of needing to make a stay great, it’s already provided. The deluxe suite is the way to go! I had to book a split stay because the other place I was trying to book was unavailable for the length of my request. Emmad was the Airbnb recommendation. To be honest, Emmad set the bar extremely high. So after transferring to my original requested property, I was a little disappointed at first and thought about returning to Emmad. I miss the team over there, and will return again at some point in the future.

The lodge is right on the lake with greenery surrounding and some tortoises and rabbits running around. The pictures don’t do this place justice. You just have to be there. The place has an antique vibe. You wake up to the beautiful view of the lake and sounds of the birds. You can kayak, swim, feed fish or rent out a boat out into the lake either sundowner or during the day or they organise for you to see other lakes (Green crater lake). The staff are extremely helpful and polite. They give local recommendations, especially as I was travelling alone they made sure I was safe especially in moving around. I want to extend my utmost gratitude to the team. I felt right at home. Thank you so much!! Highly highly recommend. Book it don’t even think about it, it’s one of the best spots on the lake.

Super close to airport, easy check in, tidy + spacious rooms. V helpful w arranging shuttles, too.

We had a wonderful time in this hotel despite the current a bit difficult situation in Lalibela. In Birhans Hotel there was water and electricity and very nice and clean rooms.

I was realy surprised to find such a nice, friendly, safe and very very nice hotel close to the airport in Addis Abeba. Very clean and large, friendly, bright, sparkling clean rooms with very beautiful selected furniture and pictures on the walls. The sanitary facilities are perfect and clean, the staff is so friendly and Sarah the manager is always helpful and accommodating. All in all a very nice, wonderful hotel. Easy to get to - for some nights, a month or more. The perfect place to relax after a long, hectic day in Addis. I will definitely come back!!!
