Welcome! We are Paul and Paula and have lived in Waipara over 30 years, you will be nestled down the back of our home on 1/2 acre property. A newly refurbished 2 bedroom cottage, quiet, roomy living area, outdoor patio, you can sit and enjoy the sun, or under the tree for shade. Surrounded by wineries, for brunch, lunch or coffee and taste some wonderful wines. Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space at the end of a private laneway. Accessed by external steps, the house is split into two pods connected by an external deck. Lofty ceilings and timber walls create a warm bach-like interior with large ceiling fans in each room and a log burner fire. Glass sliders open out to dramatic views of the harbour and hills. Enjoy a drink or BBQ on the large deck or unwind with a hot outdoor bath. Just a 5-minute walk from the local supermarket and brew bar.

With easy access to coastal walking tracks, 500m walk to the beach, 5 mins from Lyttelton & 20 mins to Christchurch central this space is the perfect getaway spot. We have created the holiday space we always search for, come and enjoy it Summer or Winter!

The Birds Nest is a secluded and boutique cabin nestled amongst the tree tops and away from other houses. This luxury hideaway provides the peace and quiet of nature, whilst maintaining close proximity to all that the city and suburbs has to offer. Some highlights include relaxing in our private hot tub watching the sun set, strolls along the banks of the Heathcote river, and afternoon gelato just around the corner. Enjoy the hot tub under the stars, relax on the deck, enjoy a complimentary wine tasting up at the Winery, use our complimentary bikes to explore the area, with kitchen and bbq (bring your own supplies or purchase local antipasto fare at our Cellar Door), luxury bedding, bluetooth sound and with breakfast included.

Mariners Cabin is a modern and minimalist retreat situated in picturesque Cass Bay, perfect for solo travellers or couples looking for a serene escape. This cabin (12 square meters in size) is suspended in the trees, offers the best proximity to beach views, an outdoor bath, barbecue, and a romantic outdoor dining area. It also features an authentic wood burner, ensuring warmth and coziness during chilly nights, while the comfortable double bed provides a restful night's sleep.

Our Lyttel Whare (house) is a brand new, architecturally designed tiny home, thoughtfully located and decorated to maximise stunning harbour and hill views and to reflect our funky Lyttelton vibe. With access to a range of local walks, markets, eateries and activities, a break away will leave you feeling enriched and indulged with great memories to take with you. We aim to provide as much information and comfort as you need to have a great experience.

Whether you are pausing for breath before entering Christchurch from the north or making the Hurunui a destination in itself, La Poste gives you the accommodation options you need. Jump off here for the Inland Scenic Route and Waipara Valley and Hanmer Springs. And it is within walking distance to all Amberley township ammenities: cafes, restaurants, supermarket. The Beach Bach is a fully self contained unit with all day sun. At the back of a private yard there is a deck to enjoy the sun and catch some views. Nestled between the walnut trees is a modern, private space in the country but so close to the city. 15 minutes to/from Christchurch Airport. This is lifestyle block that runs as a little farm. Take a walk and enjoy the countryside. An easy drive to the supermarkets and every takeaway that you can think of! Relax on the covered deck, and absorb the space. Not suitable for infants/children.
