When we are not at our cozy cabin we like to share it with others. The cabin is an authentic, rustic, full-scribe Scandinavian style.The living area is a warm and inviting open layout. Just a short walk or drive to the beach, and the historic Point Clark lighthouse. Enjoy Lake Huron's famous sunsets. We are located in a sleepy non-commercial residential/cottage community. Walking trails in the area. Accommodations not suitable for children. MIN 6 nights/summer, 3 nights /fall. No exceptions. thx

This original cottage was built in approx. 1940 and includes a beautiful beach stone fireplace. Thoughtful renovations have been recently completed to provide comfort in an incredibly unique space. Kintail beach is about 100 steps from the cottage and you will be amazed to hear the sound of the waves from every room! Nov 1 to early May the cabin is partially OFF GRID- No running water/shower/indoor bathroom at this time. Water is provided with water dispenser//outhouse cleaned between guests. Sauna & roto spa tub available yr round. Pet friendly// 1 dog per booking with pet fee. Cabin heated by wood stove in the winter months and supplemented with a mini split heater. Firewood/kindling provided. Summer/fall 2025 there may be some construction noise during your stay due to development in the area.
