Villa vacation rentals in Amami

We really enjoyed our stay here, we were two families and the common space was great + the host was super helpful with recommendations and helping us throughout our stay.

It was a very satisfying trip with a beautiful view of the ocean and a quiet environment through Hibiscus. There was a chow-cho in the garden all day. The owner is also friendly and I would like to visit again.

They were very kind and prepared a lot of things for us, so we were able to enjoy Amami Oshima! We would definitely like to stay again when we come! Thank you!

To start with the conclusion, it was a great stay! 　All the rooms in the villa are very spacious, clean, and refreshing! There were 2 washing machines, 1 dryer, and various detergents, and the kitchen had condiments such as salt, pepper, and oil, which were useful for cooking a little.We also had 3 kinds of Nescafe Dolce Gusto to drink freely, and we had a pleasant time in the morning while drinking a cup. 　The location of the villa is also very good.It is about 15 minutes by car from Amami Airport, and the beach is about 10 meters away, walking through the Adan tree tunnel path next to the villa.This is the beach of Tatsugo Bay, formed by a meteorite collision, with fine white sand and emerald blue water.When we went, there were no tourists, and only a few neighbors came for a walk, so it was like a private beach.If you drive for about 15 minutes, you can also go to the BIG II supermarket (by the way, there is no BIG I), which is known only to locals, and there are also other good cafes and restaurants nearby. 　I am also happy that the villa lends various items for free, such as snorkeling goggles and sea shoes. 　A recommended villa where you can relax and have fun with a stay that fits your plans!

We spent six fantastic days at Villa Tumugu on Amami and loved it. The space was clean, new and decorated with a lot of love. Everything you needed was there – from extra beach towels to the washer and dryer. Particularly noteworthy are the hosts who were incredibly friendly and helpful. They took care of everything and were always there for us. During a typhoon, we felt safe thanks to their support, they even offered us to move to another place to be safe. The location of the villa is perfect, several beaches can be reached in minutes, both on the east and west sides of the island. We felt completely comfortable and recommend this villa to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on Amami. Thank you for everything

Awesome accommodation. Modern, clean, beautiful view. Has space for four people, although be aware that there is one sleeping room only. The sleeping room can be separated with a wooden sliding door, but that does not fully seal, so privacy is limited. Nice host, well organised, very forthcoming. Thank you so much!
