Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Allegany County

This house is in a convenient location just off the main highway but has a very private feeling. It is very spacious for the price and has everything you need. Jean was awesome. I look forward to going back.

Second time staying here, they have everything you need to spend a week relaxing in the woods. Plenty to do in the surrounding area if you're looking to get out of the house. Great outdoor area perfect for a cozy fire or bird watching. Slight sulfur smell to the water but that's to be expected this far out in the country, we just brought our own water. Fully stocked kitchen made it super easy to cook our own meals. Would definitely stay here again!!

This is a lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. We found it was a perfect place to stay for DelFest. It is very comfortable, and the back deck is a real plus!

This was our 2nd year at Kay's home, while attending Delfest. Kay's home could not be more perfect. It's a peaceful, cozy respite from whatever your day brings, with birds in the pristine yard, comfortable and practical furnishings and even a basket of the most common items people forget to bring with them! We loved the addition this year of the huge sectional couch! There are a variety of art supplies and games available - even the box of crayons provided inspiration to create drawings in the field, while enjoying bluegrass in the mountains. There are a ton of spices available for cooking, lots and lots of kitchen supplies - including lots of plastic containers for leftovers, the choice of a Kuerig or drip coffee machines, toaster, ziplock bags and foil, etc. You want for nothing when you come here. We cannot wait to return year after year. Thank you for everything, Kay!

We stayed in Cumberland for a weekend of R&R, as well as to continue on to explore the Paw Paw Tunnel. The house felt like home and the sauna and hot tub were delightful. We had plenty of spaces to chill or play games, plenty of TVs for movies and video games, and comfy beds for good sleeping. Great spot!

Such a peaceful setting for a long weekend away! We spent a lot of our time simply sitting around the fire pit and enjoying the space with our pup.

We had a wonderful stay at Seventh Heaven. My family and 2 dogs had a quick stay for Thanksgiving. We had everything we needed to cook in the kitchen. The cabin was beautiful, clean and peaceful. The pellet stove was perfect to relax, as was the hot tub. We took a hike at the paw paw tunnel and trail which was about 20 minutes away. We all enjoyed the peace and quiet away from our busy lives. I hope to return to this lovely cabin in the future!

Jennifer was very responsive and sent us directions to enter her home at 6:00 am. The house was spotless and very cozy. Very comfortable beds and bedding. We slept well! Jennifer's property met our needs perfectly!

The first 10 minutes of our stay was just us walking around the house going “are you kidding me” between the view, the personal touches (down to the quirky cabinet handles!!), the record player/collection, having stuff for smores readily available for the fire pit, and the sunroom where my husband had to drag me out of the morning we left. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, we would definitely stay here again!

This was a beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Gorgeous view overlooking the river! The place was well decorated and we loved listening to the rain on the skylights in the living room. The neighbors were a little closer than expected, but wasn’t really an issue. Power went out one night (area outage), and Alison was responsive and proactive to provide a location of various lamps and lights. We were already using the grill on the incredibly back deck, so we weren’t really inconvenienced by it. I do appreciate the host keeping us updated on power outage.

Words alone can not do this cabin justice. Selena has created such a welcoming country environment. It is so obvious that she has put love and attention into every detail. It feels like home. This is a peaceful place where you can watch the birds feed from the kitchen window. Patterson's Creek runs through the property so there is an abundance of wildlife to admire. The backyard is like your own private resort complete with a firepit where you can recline while listening to the sounds of the creek, the frogs and crickets topped off by a crackling fire. Trust me... it doesn't get much better than this. All of this, and I found a new friend in Selena. She is an exceptional host and you won't find a nicer person. I can't wait to return... this place speaks to my soul!

The seclusion was absolutely peaceful and beautiful—just what we needed to relax and recharge. The fenced-in yard was perfect for my puppies; they were so happy running around safely and freely. It truly felt like a little slice of paradise for both me, my wife, and my pups. it was very stocked with literally everything. I will definitely be booking again!

Andrew’s canal cabins were exactly what we expected after our day of riding the C&O trail. The cabins were only about 1/2 mile off the trail and we had no problem finding them and check-in was a breeze. We were able to walk over to the local tavern for some beer and wings. Coffee in the morning, then back out on our ride. These cabins were perfect for what we needed!

The cabin was clean and provided the cabin feel we were seeking. Kelsey was responsive, friendly and easy to work with. The surroundings were gorgeous and she even thought to provide items like flashlights, marshmallow roasting sticks and so many other things you would want with your cabin. We plan to return in the late summer to early fall.

We had such a wonderful stay at Hawk’s Nest! It was exactly what we were looking for to have a quiet family getaway. The home was beautiful and the view was stunning. We had a couple of rainy days and it was so cool to watch the storms roll in over the landscape. Debbie and Steve were perfect hosts - they were always quick to respond and super friendly/thoughtful. Thank you so much for a great time in your beautiful home!

The place was exactly as listed. Very quiet and secluded. I think we noticed fewer that 6 vehicles drive by the entire weekend. The few people we noticed driving in and out were friendly and waived as we passed. If you are looking for a quiet secluded place not far from town with all the amenities you need for a group of 4-6 people this is the place.
