The location and cabin are both beautiful! We really enjoyed the view and the cabin overall. Mike was very easy to communicate with so that was nice as well. The beds and floors were quite squeaky and there was a very mild, strange smell around the house that we were told might be from the hard rain we had prior to coming and it's affect on the septic. It wasn't terrible but we did notice it. Otherwise it was great!

Eagle View Lodge - 1850's Log Cabin w/ Hot Tub

We had a wonderful stay at Eagle View Lodge! Stepping into the cabin felt like being transported back in time. Complementing the old-world style and architecture, it was decorated with antiques and beautiful artwork. However, the modern furniture and amenities gave it a spa-like feel. We were very comfortable throughout our stay. The view from the cabin was stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the deck, cards around the fire, and the hot tub under the stars. Sunsets over the river were beautiful. We explored a couple of nearby towns: Viroqua, Prairie Du Chien, and Lansing. During our drives we saw tons of wildlife: so many deer, turkeys, eagles, and hawks. We recommend Eagle View Lodge and hope to return. Thank you, David!

We spent the weekend at the barn loft with our 3 grandkids. They loved the pond pool and spent all day swimming & going down the slide. Traci took them for a tour of the farm & they fed the horses carrots & apples. They loved it! The barn loft is a great spot. Exactly as pictured & described. We had everything we needed & more. We enjoyed the homemade banana bread upon our arrival & our entire stay. Beautiful views & very peaceful. Great family spot! The grandkids asked if we could go back again.

Booked this cozy and peaceful cabin as a solo getaway/retreat to escape the hustle and bustle of the big city. This place delivered and then some! Very clean and already had pretty much everything you can think of. One of the best Airbnb’s I’ve ever stayed at. You can tell the hosts take care of their cabin and want everyone to have a great experience there. Literally no complaints; highly recommend!

We celebrated Easter here with our family from Wisconsin. It was a great meeting point and more than enough space to accommodate my sisters with small children. The Cabin was very welcoming felt like a home away from home filled with family games and a pool table to play on. It was a big hit, we are thinking of making it a yearly tradition.

We love staying in the heart of Lansing. After living in this area for many years, we feel right at home. Love the convenience of walking my dog with plenty of light in the evening. We arrived in a snowstorm and Kelly was quick to respond to clean the steps to the house. We always enjoy our stay here!!

Relaxing river view from the front porch and dining room was the star of the show. Nice clean cabin. Convenient location for visiting family in the area. Adding Wi-Fi would be a nice addition, although we could get spotty cell phone/hot spot connectivity from the porch/dining room to make do. Would consider renting again.

Excellent place that is quiet and has great views of wildlife and the river. So much room for everyone to have their own space and come together for a meal or board game. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, playing darts, sitting by the fire and making smores. Simon was quick to respond to any questions I had, thanks for sharing your home!

Danielle was very quick to respond to all questions. It was fun getting to see the chickens and hear the roosters (it was in the afternoon not early risers hahaha). Everything went well. There are a lot of deer to see on the drive as well as eagles flying around.
