Villa vacation rentals in Alentejo, Oliveira do Hospital

We had an amazing 10 nights in the villa. The outside area was great for dining, sunbathing or just relaxing reading a book. Then the shaded area was great if you needed to get out of the sun. The swimming pool was really clean and well maintained throughout the holiday. As it was August it was lovely and warm. All bedrooms were a great size and it was lovely that each room had it's own bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need and with Lidl only a 10 min walk away it was great for food shopping. Tirimisu Bar was great for food and drink and very reasonable. We also ate at a lovely Italian restaurant at the golf village which was only a few minutes drive away. Ubers were very easy to get. We had a late flight back so thankfully we were able to leave our cases in the villa until it was time to great. Overall a fantastic holiday in a great villa.

This place was really awesome: clean, really well equipped, beautifully decorated. A real haven to host our family vacation. Furthermore, Kinga was amazingly responsive and helpful even through a difficult health situation we encountered. We definitely are recommending this place without hesitation to anyone who wants to spend a nice family vacation in the area. Thank you again Kinga for everything.

We hebben een heerlijke tijd gehad in deze woning in onze kerstvakantie. Grote teleurstelling was wel dat het zwembad niet warm was, terwijl juist daarmee geadverteerd werd. Deze was pas aan het einde van onze week vakantie op temperatuur. Uiteraard zijn we hier wel voor gecompenseerd. Verder is het huis prachtig, omgeving heel fijn om te hardlopen en met de auto uitstapjes te doen. We zouden graag weer eens terug komen.

Uma maravilhosa moradia para quem busca relaxar em um ambiente agradável e aconchegante, ao mesmo tempo com opções de conhecer alguns pontos turísticos. A moradia é excelente para momentos com a família e amigos, bem equipada e com tudo para nossa comodidade. A piscina é um dos destaques da moradia, uma temperatura agradável mesmo estando dias frios… ficamos surpreendidos com o tamanho da mesma, pois nas fotos aparenta ser bem menor do que realmente é. Amplos quartos com uma excelente estrutura uma sala de estar que proporciona momentos de relaxamento, boas conversas e convívio. Minha família e Eu ficamos muito felizes por nossa escolha. Aproveito para agradecer a recepção que foi maravilhosa, assim como o chekout. Agradecemos e com certeza vamos repetir…

We loved our stay at Jinny’s place; gorgeous, spacious house with all amenities. The nearby beach and villages are amazing as well. We would definitely recommend this place!

We absolutely loved Sergio’s villa, it had everything we needed, with magnificent views across the valley. It was sooo peasant and pleasant. The kids loved the heated pool and the garden. We will be back!!!!

We hebben weer een perfect winterverblijf in de Algarve. Ondanks dat we er vele jaren komen, heeft Wilson ons toch verrast met nuttige tips voor uitstapjes en restaurants. Daarnaast blinkt Wilson uit, doordat hij echter interesse, gastvrijheid en bezorgdheid heeft voor zijn gasten. dat is slechts weinigen gegeven. Kortom, een top host die je iedereen zou gunnen.

Wir waren eine Woche als Familie mit 8 Personen in dieser wunderschönen großzügigen Villa und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Villa liegt auf einer Anhöhe und ist ca. 25 Minuten vom Flughafen und den schönen Stränden der Algarve entfernt. Es gibt alle benötigten Utensilien für Küche und Bad. Auch die Tischtennisplatte haben wir oft genutzt. Es gibt Platz für 12 Personen und mehrere Fahrzeuge. Fußläufig kann man auch ein authentisches günstiges Restaurant erreichen. In der Stube gibt es Material zu empfohlenen Restaurants und Ausflugsoptionen in der Gegend. Wir haben die Poolheizung genutzt und konnten auch in der Dämmerung im beleuchteten Pool baden. Leider haben wir es geschafft uns auszusperren. Die Agentur hat uns umgehend geholfen und nach einer halben Stunde war das Problem gelöst. Der Schlüsseldienst war schnell, günstig und sehr freundlich. Auch beim Ausfall einer Pumpe haben wir sogar 23.00 Uhr noch jemanden erreicht und das Problem konnte gelöst werden. Vielen Dank !

We had a fantastic family holiday at the luxury Lara's Villa. Bruno and Ana have made it a perfect place to stay with wonderful attention to detail. It's easy driving distance from Tavira and local attractions. It was so relaxing to come back and enjoy the swimming pool, relax on the terraces or play in the huge games room. The villa is above the motorway with a sea view beyond. There's a small amount of traffic noise, but not enough to spoil enjoyment of the secluded location. We especially loved watching the sun set over the hills.

We were greeted with a big hug by Sofia who welcomed us to Ericeira Hills. Ericeira was the perfect landing spot for us as we traveled around touring 20+ towns & 21+ tours & sites visited. Our first trip to Portugal proved to us that the locals are very kind, friendly & willing to help out! The food was magnificent, views were just so beautiful, we could not have asked for a better location. A grocery & restaurant within a 3 min walk & a butcher within a 5 min walk. It was so neat to go into Ericeira & walk the cobblestone streets, watch surfers, & enjoy the incredible Atlantic coast from Portugal. I would recommend Aksel’s place for anyone wanting to settle in & immerse yourself into the Portuguese culture. So glad we did! Thanks to Aksel & his beautiful Ericeira Hills home, to Sofia for her help in answering any questions & to Stein for helping us rent a car. A truly wonderful trip & experience!!

This villa was a great treat for the winter holidays! Great villa with all the amenities you’ll ever need plus a pool and ping pong table! Area was lovely and peaceful. Roger was very responsive with any questions we had and made us feel very welcome! It was a pleasure to stay here and would love to come back during the summer months one day!

What a villa!! We stayed here the week build up to our wedding and it was just perfect in every way. The location, the space, the villa itself was so modern and clean, the pool and outdoor area was amazing. It was even more gorgeous in person! Daniel the owner and the team couldn’t have done enough for us. I couldn’t recommend it anymore! Thank you for making our stay extra special. We will be back xx

Deze villa is een stuk beter dan de foto’s zeggen. Het is ruim opgezet en er is altijd een zitje beschikbaar in de schaduw. Zat handdoeken aanwezig dus die hoef je niet mee te nemen. Genoeg koelkastruimte(zelf een extra koelkast in de garage en nog een extra diepvrieskast). De bedden zijn wel aardig hard dus dat was even wennen. Verder is de ligging heel centraal. Wij hebben alles met de uber gedaan en die waren er met 5 minuten en kost €7-€10 voor een ritje naar strand Ferragudo. Binnen is er een zeer groot tv scherm aanwezig met satelliet tv. Ook een chromecast aanwezig dus je kan Netflix streamen. Heel handig als je de kindjes even achter de tv wilt zetten. Al met al een super verblijf!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this Villa, it is in a lovely and peaceful location, which is perfect for kids and relaxing but also the restaurants and bars are within walking distance. We also regularly used taxi services to further away areas which were only a few euros. The cleaning service was a great added bonus, especially for a large group and Andrea was always very helpful with any queries we had. Rowny was brilliant and very helpful and responsive. We had a young baby with us & I had asked whether there was a pack and play that the baby could use whilst we were at the pool area. While it wasn't advertised, Rowny went out of her way to have one delivered to us, which was very much appreciated! The hosts were the best I have experienced on air B&B! The villa itself is very spacious , we had a group of 14 and everyone had plenty of space. I would recommend this Villa to anyone considering booking!

A casa corresponde exatamente às fotos. A piscina estava realmente aquecida, o que é sempre uma surpresa positiva (muitas vezes o anúncio promete piscina aquecida mas depois não se concretiza). A casa estava muito bem preparada para receber oito hóspedes, a nível de zonas de convívio, louça e toalhas. Mas seria útil ter uma casa de banho com chuveiro extra. A comunicação com o host foi muito fácil. Pudemos ter um late check out a um preço bastance acessível. A zona de São Martinho do Porto é lindíssima, e muito perto da casa tínhamos vistas fantásticas para a baía.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Alva and found David to be a really helpful, honest, thoughtful host. The villa has a v peaceful location with beautiful sea views, especially from the living area (on the first floor) and its large wraparound balcony. The pool is a very good size, with a proper deep end, so great for families with bigger kids - and heated! We asked David if he would heat it for us earlier in the season than usual (we stayed in early April) and he kindly agreed, which made a huge difference to our stay - thanks, David! The outside kitchen with charcoal BBQ, sink and fridge overlooking the pool is really great. Be aware it's an approx 25 minute walk into town/the beach (15 mins to Baptista/Spar supermarkets) - all downhill in, all uphill going back! We didn't hire a car, and found this walkable (you can also walk to Espiche) tho Bolt taxis and local buses are also easily available. We didn't have small kids with us tho - ours are tweenagers. All in all - recommended!

We had a great stay! The house and host were everything that was outlined in the listing; our host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The location while beautiful does limit the walkable amenities ; we were fortunate through the initial help of our host to be able to utilize the taxi service regularly and we also used them as a day tour service for specific outings! I would recommend Guilherme and this property.

Absolutely a beautiful villa in a peaceful setting. There is a large supermarket nearby and the old town Albuferia and beaches are only a 8 to10 minute drive away. The villa has all the amenities you need and is well maintained. The grounds and pool area are large with plenty of places to sit in the sun or shade. Large patio table and chairs. Large brick charcoal bbq setup. Nice loungers and umbrellas for shade at the pool which was great and came in very handy. Very spacious bedrooms with massive wardrobes each with their own large en-suite bathrooms. Kitchen was extremely well equipped with a great supply of everything we needed. The laundry room has a washing machine, and each bedroom has air conditioning. We felt very safe at the property as there were locks and shutters for the doors and a locked gate to exit and enter. Would definitely return for another holiday. Excellent communication. Thank you Ricardo and Elizabete.

We were a group of 6 with 4 adults and kids age of 4 and 10 and stayed for 10 nights. We came in late and were able to self check in. The host had arranged us some small snacks, drinks and some breakfast which was great. Everything in the trip went well and we had no real issues in the villa. The kids loved the pool which was a good place to relax and cool during hotter hours. The place is located on a quite high hill which offers a nice view to the sea and the vity but makes walking down (and especially back up) to marina or old town a bit more difficult for the older people. But occasionally we used an app for rides which take 5mins to arrive and cost only average of 5euros. The location is quiet and peaceful! Using the showers at the same time at least in the 2nd floor had some issues with warm water and pressure but it wasn't a big deal. All in all can recommend.

Vi var her 12 stk. med storfamilien frå Norge og Tyskland og koste oss veldig. Vi hadde god plass fordelt på 3 etasjer. Det meste var på plass. Det var fint å bu så sentralt, men likevel så roleg. Det hadde vore bra om ein kunne ha skaffa noen fleire stolar og solskjerming. Tusen takk, vi kommer gjerne tilbake.

Hallo wir haben 9 tage in der Unterkunft verbracht und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, die Küche ist super ausgestattet und haben sehr viel gekocht, waren schwimmen im pool und haben Feuer gemacht am Kamin. Es war alles sehr sauber und gepflegt :)

Claire was simply a superb host. The house was absolutely clean, the communication was perfect, even her recommendations based on our interests were exactly on point. Whenever there was a question Claire answered almost instantly. I can only recommend this beautiful house to anyone who does not want to stay directly in the center, but it is only a 5 minute drive. One minor thing for the interested, there is no coffee machine, but the supermarket a few metres away does have a coffee machine with actually fine tasting coffee. Thank you very much Claire, hope to see you again someday!
