the earth house is a monkey, such as the photos... very comfortable and if you are looking for tranquility, you will have it. The village is three minutes away... the only thing is that you do not wear heels for the curbs that are there. Paco and Claudia are wonderful, very attentive and friendly people. The mini pool was spectacular. My children were spectacular and we enjoyed it. The garden is beautiful and ideal for breakfasts and dinners. Very well equipped kitchen. And in the summer evenings you don't know the heat. Highly recommended place.

Such a unique and special place to stay. We visited as a family of 3 adults and 4 children (ages 2 to 7) and really loved the cave house. It was cool despite daily temperatures of 40C, the pool is great and the restaurant is lovely. I will definitely recommend this to friends, and hope to visit again.

It was our second time there after coming 3 years ago, and certainly not the last. What a pleasure to meet again with Pepa and Juan, who are all you could dream of for hosts. They are kind, flexible, have many advices about the surroundings and make you feel at home from the first minute. The view is breathtaking and the spot very peaceful. The Cueva is perfectly renovated, beautiful and comfy. It’s always fresh even during big heatwaves. It’s also well equipped with all you need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The location is ideal for a break at the pool, or an exploration of the landscapes around. In short, we can only say thank you to Pepa and Juan for another lovely stay, and we wish we meet again anytime soon.

The place is great, with a water channel running next to the house, refreshing the atmosphere. There are, however, relatively few mosquitoes. All the windows have mosquito screens and that helps. The house is very well furnished, especially the kitchen, with everything you need and a huge crockery. The only small downside is that the estate is not fenced in and people and bicycles pass through the same door, which subtracts privacy. The pool and the water temperature have been great.

We were looking for a rustic home in the mountains in Andalusia with a pool. We got everything we wanted. Perfect view from several terraces and the balcony. It was very hot, due to a heatwave. The property has different places to find shade and catch a breeze, though . View from the pool is spectacular. As it was hot inside during the night and colder outside we opened the windows and used fans. Yunquera is a beautiful village.

We had a wonderful stay, it is definitely a unique place and experience. The cave is very spacious, beautiful with lots of amazing details. Both Vanessa and Elena were very easy to communicate with and flexible about our extra requests. I would definitely like to come back there again, and highly recommend everyone to experience the stay in such unique place!

Great location! Enjoyed a few peaceful days in the countryside. I loved the views. And the pool was wonderful.

A remote place in a small village at the water reservoir. The family is three generations with young children. Getting there requires a long taxi drive from Fes, so a short stay is not advisable. If you want to live Moroccan rural live and are prepared to experiencs it fully, this is a great place.

I liked the place so much, I booked it for an extra extended period. Everything was so peaceful and wonderful. Life is very slow in a very good way in the tiny village of Berwawa. Even though I stayed in the winter, I was plenty warm inside my bedroom with the heater on low. We had some nice rains while I was there and some very clear and sunny days. The rolling green hills looked just like a postcard. So picturesque with olive trees dotting the landscape. The locals continued to be super welcoming and I had no problems whatsoever. Note: The locals here don’t speak much of any English, but we had fun having deep conversations with the Google Translate app for instant spoken word translation. Power remained consistent as well as Maroc Telecom 4G connectivity. Note: Other carriers may have issues, but you’ll probably want Maroc Telecom anyhow since you’ll have the greatest coverage, country-wide. I came to Berwawa to get away from distractions and focus on working and writing music. It was so perfect there that I developed some great playing techniques far beyond my expectations! Mohammed was super accommodating and came to pick me up at short notice when my plans changed and I moved on to Fes. Now, sitting in my sweeping-panorama-view apartment inside the old Fes medina, I find myself missing the tranquility of Berwawa. I wish I could have stayed longer. Never once did I feel unsafe, and I had everything I needed from the local farming villagers or from the little store in-town. Even though I don’t have any specialized “farm lore” skills, I never felt inconvenienced by the simplicity of the accommodations and had no troubles with my daily routine whatsoever. I felt relieved to dial things back and simplify my life for a moment while I unwound in the serenity of it all. I just discovered that there’s taxi service which makes a round trip between Fes and Berwawa each day. The cost is 60MAD (about $6.50USD) per-seat, each way. A bargain since it take 2-3 hours each way. This alone makes Berwawa easily accessible for tourists wanting to get away from it all to enjoy the fresh air, clean water, and the wonderful produce from the bountiful Rif Mountain region. Here, there is no fear of getting ripped off by greedy touts looking to fleece you as you'll find in the tourist traps. This never occurred here. Berwawan's are an honest and honorable people in my opinion. Mohammed’s place has been an amazing experience. Truly the highlight of my entire Moroccan tour. Renting the entire ½ acre citrus, olive and vegetable farm with the large adobe farmhouse proved to be not only a great deal for the money, but an untapped area where there are zero tourists, and local hospitality abounds. I’ll never forget the friendships I made there since you’ll be treated as family with a genuineness of heart that is such a rarity in the world today. Thank you again, Mohammed. You and your family will always hold a dear place in my heart and I hope to come again to Berwawa sooner than later!

We were greeted by Corinne who is a great host and I weigh my words she is very attentive and very pleasant you will meet her mother who and looks like Corinne and also the different animals of Corinne . You are in a safe harbor among olive trees and orange groves all and fenced and secured. The house and great for relaxing in the calm . We had a lovely stay with Osama and his father Abdelah. The latter is extremely welcoming and always available to us, at any time. He offered us many products for free and generously shared a wealth of interesting information about the area. The area, precisely, is beautiful: very quiet, peaceful and quiet, making it an ideal place for a trip under the sign of relaxation. The house, on the other hand, is very comfortable, decorated in a rural style that perfectly matches the experience we were looking for. I highly recommend this place to anyone who loves the countryside and wants to recharge their batteries. I gave this experience to my parents, and we all have a great memory of it. This is an experience to repeat without hesitation!

Quiet and scenic. Super unique place to stay with amazing views of the Alhambra and Granada. Small kitchen but more than enough to make simple meals etc. Great hiking trails right outside the cave in Generalife and a nice walk/bus/taxi ride into busier parts of town with the main sights. The haul up the mountain w my stuff was worth it but may not be everyone’s cup of tea. Definitely an interesting experience to live as a Sacromonte local for a few days. There is a cave museum nearby with more details on the area’s history and way of life. Was also super fun to catch Carolina’s flamenco show 😍💃🏻🍷
