Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Albaicín

We spent some very nice days in Granada. The apartment is very cozy. It's spacious and clean and well decorated.

Both Rafael and Patricia were always empathetic to our needs and were on the lookout for us to have all the facilities. They are very attentive people and they supported us a lot in knowing how to move in the area. The apartment is very well located and close with access to skiing.

There are only positive things to report. The apartment and the room were very well maintained, it was quiet, the hosts were very friendly and helpful, kettle and desk available, shared use of fridge and microwave - I had everything I needed. I would come back anytime. I also liked the location - the neighborhood is not so touristy, very busy with shopping, cafes and restaurants and good transport links. You can also walk to the city, it takes about 20-25 minutes.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Fatima’s Airbnb. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful with local recommendations, ensuring I had the best experience possible. Her knowledge of the area was invaluable, and she went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. What truly set Fatima apart was her kindness and willingness to help when I found myself in a stressful situation—I lost my phone during my stay. She immediately stepped in. Thanks to her efforts, I was able to get a new phone for a reasonable price, something that would have been nearly impossible without her help. Beyond that, the accommodation was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. In addition, Carmen was also very kind, we communicated with her perfectly, she waited for us upon arrival at the accommodation and gave us advice and recommendations. Ignacio is definitely a superhost!! Easygoing, very communicative, quick responsive and attentive. Even though we could not meet him, it was so obvious that he truly cares, and he makes all the necessary to make you have the best experience possible. He even borrowed us a couple of bicycles, as we were travelling with no car. The apartment is decorated exactly as shown in the pictures, and it has all the gadgets needed for a long stay. Also a good WiFi made remote working smoothly. The only thing that was not as expected was the terrace. It does not look the same as in the picture (probably a pic from some time ago), and we were expecting to access it directly from the apartment. But that was on us, because in the pics is to be seen that it is located on the roof of the building. Nevertheless, we spent most of the free time on the swimming pool area, which was really nice and enjoyable :) And the gym was also an awesome “nice to have”, since you will surely love the food and the tapas in the nearby restaurants. The village is located wonderfully, near the mountains, the city of Granada, the beach and many other sightseeing spots. By car you will be in almost no time everywhere. We went by bus and, although for us it was ok, you should now that the connections are not so frequent as you may expect, but the village is well connected with Granada city and Motril. And, in any case, in Vélez you will have all you need for a quite, enjoyable relaxing stay: several restaurants, ice cream shop, supermarket, fruit shop, hairdresser, etc. But do not expect any shopping area, though you have two dollar stores to cover your main needs.

Great apartment to spend a few days on vacation great apartment. Both Andrea and her daughter are charming, always willing to help and very thoughtful, make the stay very pleasant, we will definitely be back. If you can visit this beautiful village, do not hesitate to contact Andrea for the stay, it is excellent.

The house is perfect for spending a few days skiing. They allow animals that are essential to me. The apartment is the same as the pictures and has a garage. Guillermo is super attentive.

Okay, let’s first start by saying something about our host Rosi. She is awesome! Very attentive with personal messages, which we appreciated very much! She is responsive, and solution oriented with a friendly tone of voice. Other hosts step up your game or take a course with her 😉 Location: For us it was perfect with two little ones. Near multiple supermarkets, the beach and the the balcon of Europe/city centre. All in good walking distance. Appartment: Well equipped with what we needed for our stay. There are two swimming pools with one being better suited for smaller children. There are some things which could be improved. - We would have liked musquito screens on the backside of the appartment. Those vampires sting even during daytime. - During cooking we missed an extractor hood to get rid off the smoke and smells. One thing we both didn’t like is that you are quit boxed in because of the surrounding appartments. Conclusion: Rosi is perfect and the appartment is good enough!

Location was perfect! Literally walking distance from the train station (easy walk even with the luggage and a baby stroller). There is also a large park, two supermarkets and restaurants around the building. We didn’t have to travel far for all the basic amenities. Even attractions were also very near. Buses that go to the Albaicín and Alhambra, or you could walk. Some of the days during our stay, the roads were closed due to Holy Week, however we could still walk conveniently to the Alcaiceria with no fuss. The apartment itself has everything you need for a stay even more than just a few days. The kitchen has enough pots, pans, plates and utensils to do the cooking. The host was there to welcome us for the checkin and explained everything. Additionally with small touches around the house that really made the stay really lovely - such as a hair dryer for both rooms, drying rack for laundry, guide books about granada/spain and things for a shower.

Karlien is a great host. Available for any help needed. Great at communicating and getting back to you quickly. This is a lovely villa with sea and mountain views close to town and the sea and a supermarket up the road. I would love to return.

We had a fantastic stay,everything we could have wishes for. The villa was great, very private and a superb place to relax. Ana Maria is a superb host and made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend this villa to a family or group looking for a relaxing villa to enjoy.

Absolutely beautiful accomodation in spectacular surroundings. We did bang our head a few times on low doorways and balcony roof. I would worry about taking small children because of the low wall on the balcony and lack of handrails on stairs etc. However, this is common in Spain. It would be perfect for a couple or family but there is only a curtain between the 2 bedrooms, you have to walk through one to get to the other. It is open plan, so noise does travel. On the plus side, the decor is gorgeous, very arty and aesthetically pleasing. We spent time in every area of the house and thoroughly enjoyed our surroundings, inside and out. I would definitely recommend for a romantic getaway.

A nice house with plenty of space for 4 adults on a ski trip. The place was clean and well equipped, with a good view over the ski area. A short walk to the chair lift taking you down to the gondola station. You can also buy ski passes and rent equipment there, very convenient.

We had a very special day with Jairo and Paula. We celebrated our daughter's 10th birthday there and this day will be unforgettable. The property is very pretty and crazy at the same time. The castle-like house, dinosaurs, and mosaic art everywhere are simply unique. The pool is an absolute highlight. Thanks for everything!

The villa was a fantastic place to spend a week Lots of space for the number of beds, superbly equipped kitchen, amazing view and wonderful pool . Carlos and Javier were most helpful and responsive - great hosts Local towns of Almuncar and Salobrena can be easily reached by car and have plenty of places to eat and shop, genuine low key Spanish resorts.
