Laila's house is great, and it's also our best stay in Cairo. I will recommend it to all my friends coming to Egypt

We had a marvelous first visit to Egypt thanks to Sayeda and her son Andy. They arranged for airport pickup for my 22 year old son who flew separately from us and then for my husband, my 80 year old mom and me with our four huge suitcases! It was complicated transportation logistics and they made it easy with multiple phone conversations before we even landed in Cairo. Once in the beautiful apartment with the view of two pyramids and the Nile river, we were very comfortable! AC/heat;clean There are three sitting rooms in addition to the two bedrooms and the dining room and kitchen. Having two toilets for a family of four was useful as well. The place is very secure with a security guard at the front gate and at the lobby of the apartment. Plus the elevator has a security feature where you need a key fob to get to the 27th floor. We had friends staying at the Sofitel in Zamalek and could easily Uber from our Airbnb to their place in about 15-20 minutes. Overall a great stay!

The host is friendly and has a strong sense of service, and the location of the property is also good.There was a problem with the house upon arrival: the water supply and air conditioning, and the host came to process it immediately after the feedback, and the host came specifically to express his apology and refunded the discount on the room price, which was surprising and thanked the host for his kindness.After many years of Airbnb's choice, this is a very special host, and I apologize and help us summon the car to the airport when we left. Samer was easy to contact and collected us from the Sphinx airport for a reasonable price avoiding the hassle of the drivers outside the airport. Samer was friendly and helpful, and went in ahead of us to surprise us with the jacuzzi going. The apartment itself was clean with quirky decor, which we liked. It does have the view in the picture, and the jacuzzi did indeed bubble. Bed was very roomy and comfortable. The only downside of the apartment was it was a bit under-equipped in terms of cups, glasses, etc, so I'm not sure you could do much cooking if you needed to. The apartment is in a block of flats down a dead-end alley. Samer has suggested that we didn't wander around the area after 10pm due to it potentially being unsafe. During the day, we walked from the apartment to the pyramids and it was about a 20 min walk, which was fine, but late at night it did feel unsafe. Overall, happy with our stay there.

Extremely helpful people. Offered help in every aspect of our stay. We were warned that area is not good but it turned that we felt safest in this neighborhood. People shouted welcome to Cairo at every corner. Flat has a few imperfections but you can experience Egyptian culture with decor and carpets... unlike in a big chain hotels. We spent hours watching landscape through the windows. 10 minutes walk to Coptic place where Holy Family stayed (search: Hanging Church). Cross wooden bridge and walk through poor area (totally safe) over railway bridge. Obviously we went to most museums and tourist attractions but highly recommend to visit Vadi Declan Reserve- Desert, Canyon very few people... Views. Second greatest place was Cave churches in Mokattam. Garbage city, very smelly but Christians leave there sorting Cairo rubbish. Life changing experience. Churches on top just wonderful. Our spoiled daughter changed a lot. She gave away £100 Xmas gift to poor people. 🙏 Uber rides very cheap

We had a great stay! The apartment is very spacious, and the air conditioning heats up the place quickly in winter. The balcony is fantastic—spacious, with a great view of the Nile and a lively bridge. The bedrooms are at the back, so there’s no traffic noise, making it peaceful at night. The interior is unique, the internet was fast, and everything was sparkling clean. Highly recommended!

I had an amazing and unforgettable stay at this beautiful apartment! The view of the Nile amd Pyramids from the balcony was absolutely stunning, and the location was perfect—centrally situated between Cairo and Giza, making it easy to visit all the major tourist attractions. The apartment itself was spotless, well-equipped with all the essentials, and incredibly comfortable. The check-in process was smooth, and Mr. Abdulrahman, the caretaker, was incredibly helpful. He greeted us upon arrival, gave us a thorough tour of the apartment, and shared great tips about nearby places to buy daily necessities, especially since we were traveling with kids. Maid service was available upon request, which is a nice touch if you're planning an extended stay. I highly recommend this apartment for anyone looking for a memorable stay with a thoughtful and caring host!
